Came in on a busy game day, first of the year, so I won't be too harsh. If it had been any other day I would have given one star.
Server at the front did her best and the food was decent but but I have to drop the review a few stars for a few reasons. I did not get a chance to review my order when ordering at the counter service order spot because it was hectic, my total felt a bit high but because they were rushed I did not want to cause problems. I did not get a receipt or anything. Turns out they had charged me for two elote, which I couldnt resolve because I had already paid, and tipped. Bigger issue was the bar, I ordered a pitcher of the house lager (14 bucks) they were out, so i ordered Pacifico (21 Bucks), the server and bartender ( an older gentleman) seemed to go back and forth on whether they were out but they charged me for it. Shortly after I saw the bartender pouring a pitcher of mich ultra (18 bucks) from the tap, and saw him hand it to our server who took it to us. I asked the server if it was Pacifico, she said she didn't know the bartender just handed it to her. I tasted it and it was definitely Mich. Serving a completely different and cheaper beer than what was paid for is super shady, even if you are busy. Especially in a counter service environment where you cant resolve...
Read moreI have never left a one star review in my life before this (and have worked in the service industry myself so I really understand the difficulties of it), but unfortunately had the worst takeout experience of my life. The club soda mocktail was suspiciously yellow and tasted extremely chemical, as if contaminated by some substance?? One sip made me feel ill and I had to throw it away immediately I had never seen a yellow mocktail before, needless to say it was quite expensive. Would not be surprised if it were a health hazard. Further, the chicken taco was nearly pink inside. Our party spent 40 dollars for inedible food, and staff went out of their way to scold us for sitting quietly outside after paying because we couldn’t hear ourselves think given the music volume inside (quite literally no one else was outside - it wasn’t like there was no room). It makes me sad to write this review because the restaurant industry is not an easy one, but consumers also deserve to be informed before spending what could be a day’s work on inedible food and unkind service. There are plenty of other establishments in ATL more worthy of your time and money! Be...
Read moreI was walking by in the area to find any place to eat lunch, and suddenly I came across this place. I liked the way it looked and the open floor plan. I decided to give it a try. I walked into it and I wasn’t even sure whether it is like a fast food place or it is a sit and order restaurant. However, the staff was very welcoming and they guided me through the order process. I ordered one fish taco, one shrimp taco and one rice/been combo which were all very reasonably priced. I sat waiting for the food which came very fast, smelled really good and looked so mouth watering (see pictures). With the first bite I had from the fish taco, I enjoyed the flavorful taste of the food and the well served taco. Both tacos were actually loaded, full of flavor and delicious. The shrimp size was good and it was also so delicious with the different sauces on it. Everyone was courteous and super nice. I think this place has the capacity to grow and to become a really big chain. Highly recommended if you are in Atlanta and want to try some good food with real...
