They have got to have the slowest service ever and some of the employees need some type of training in customer service. For starters, the reservation was made for 2 PM and we were on time and taken to our seat after some confusion in the system. Once seated, we waited another 30 minutes into our reservation before we were even brought water or anything. Once our server arrived, we placed our food/drink/hookah order. Another 30 min passed before we even got our drinks and even later for the hookah. Once we FINALLY got everything and started to enjoy ourselves, we were told by the greeter that we had to leave because another reservation was coming up for our table. Another thing was this annoying waitress who kept trying to take a bottle from us. Due to some confusion about our reservation, the manager gave us a complimentary bottle of wine. When the waiter brought it out, the girl came over and thought it was meant for her. When we explained that no, this was not and told her that she could just go in the back and get her a bottle for whatever she needed. She left and came back to our table multiple times until we opened the bottle and drank out of it. The BEST thing about our experience was our waiter, Marquise. He was very apologetic and helpful when we brought up questions and concerns for status of food and drinks. The food was alright. The Riverdale location is definitely the best one I’ve been to out of their multiple locations. I think they need better/more staff who actually want to work with people because may of the employees had attitudes when asked for simple things when our waiter wasn’t around. To only have 2hrs during your reservation and not even get all of your food/drinks by the first hr, it’s a complete waste...

first time at this location. we arrived in the middle of a very busy bar crawl so im giving them the benefit of doubt with this review. the reception area was full of ppl and with the exception of a few who dont understand personal space the exchange up to the bar was uneventful. the wait to be seated wasnt bar. however once we were at a table, it took a min for anyone to come and great us / take orders or just say hey give me a min and ill be right with you. like i said it was packed out so im not tripping to hard on it. when the waitress finally came she apologized and informed us she was not told we where seated ( it appears that they dont have section and service random tables)

We happened to be there during happy hour which consisted of a good variety of blk version of tapas and craft cocktails for $5. i had the fish and chicken tacos, wings, fries, fish bites and tenders plus 2 drinks (dont judge me). my only gripe was 1. the fish tacos were a little wet for my liking and 2. the fries could have been a little fresher taking into account how long the wait was for a bunch of fried food. for the most part the serving size and the execution of the food was decent for what your paying.

as for the atmosphere, the place is tight, with mid-low seating and a few different sections. the DJ is front and center and understood the assignment. they have hookah ( but as always, it is run by a third party and has to be tracked down )

over all the experience was positive. ill be back to give them a fair shot without all...

Our reservation was for 2pm, there was confusion with that & we sat down, then had to wait a whole 30ish mins before we were addressed by anyone, we ordered and everything was slow, food came, then the shots what we ordered FIRST, then the hookah came last within the last 30 mins of our visit b/c we were RUDELY told by the hostess that we had to leave b/c of another reservation. Since everything was so slow, we really only got to enjoy 30-45 mins of our reservation. The food was Ok, the drinks were good, the atmosphere was pretty dope.

With there being confusion with the reservation, we were gifted a complimentary bottle of champagne which we appreciated it, the waitress came and kept taking the bottle saying “it was for her table” and she didn’t feel like making another bottle, mind it was for a table that was seated AFTER US. One of our guests had to basically take the bottle in order for her to agree to leave it where it was. Completely unprofessional and uncalled for. If there was an issue it should’ve been addressed between workers, not the guests. She stood behind us cursing to another employee talking bad about our waiter who was exceptional considering all the slack that everyone else provided.

Please shout out to our waiter, i think his name is either Marcus or Marquise, he was empathetic to us, and provided the best service he could as fast as he could. He was the only part that made our experience somewhat enjoyable.

My first visit and surely am not enthused...
