Read moreHORRIBLE EXPERIENCE – DO NOT EAT HERE I visited this Poke Bar on October 12th, shortly after 1:30 PM, with my partner, and unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing. We ordered two poke bowls and a piña colada smoothie. A young African American staff member told us she would prepare the bowls first, then make the smoothie.
After receiving our bowls, we sat down to eat, but I noticed that instead of starting my smoothie, she and another staff member (an Asian woman who came from the back) proceeded to help three other customers. After finishing with them, another gentleman walked in, and the African American woman immediately made a drink for him without hesitation.
When I approached her to let her know I never received my smoothie and requested a refund, she said they were understaffed and too busy to issue one but offered to make the drink at that point. I declined, explaining that I didn’t want to wait any longer and just wanted a refund. She responded with an unprofessional attitude, giving me a look as if I was in the wrong.
This experience was unacceptable. Not only was my order neglected, but another customer was prioritized despite arriving after me. The level of service was frustrating, unprofessional, and unfair. I cannot recommend this establishment to anyone. If you're looking for good service and a smooth dining experience, do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere. I certainly won’t...
Read moreI’ve been to this poke location twice now. This location was disappointing both the first and second time, so I will not be back. The portion sizes are tiny, and the bowls are even much smaller than those of other restaurants And maybe only halfway full. The quality of this fish also isn’t there, and the difference is very noticeable. An additional issue is the price for the extremely stingy portion sizes, a small bowl costs more than most other places. BUT MY BIGGEST ISSUE IS WITH the HEALTH AND SAFETY concerns I have had both times I’ve been here. The first time, as I was leaving, I heard the woman behind me in line ask the server to rechange her gloves after checking me out on the cash register. This was mid May, and I would hope that would be fixed by now, but the same thing happened to me today again. The cashier did not change gloves between checking out customers and serving food. In addition, the person that scooped out protein was not wearing gloves at all. Three people helped us and only one of them bothered to put on fresh gloves. This is a serious issue as well because they mix the sauce into the protein and vegetables with their hands rather than a fork and spoon like I have seen other poke restaurants do. Considering they are physically touching the food, I find this to be unacceptable. Will not return. Please do not come here if you care about your health or the quality of...
