Bomb Tacos — Restaurant in Austin

The tacos here were super delicious! I got the bistec taco no onion and the Hawaiian no vegg. The Hawaiian was my favorite! So flavorful and the chicken and pineapple were grilled just right.

Now, the reason for the 2-stars...I waited for I don't know how long for the lil dude (who was by himself) in the trailer to first off even acknowledge my presence and secondly to take my order. Seriously, it was totally off-putting to be ignored...I seriously felt invisible and felt almost annoyed when the guy could be bothered to even take my order. Everyone standing in line behind me said it is the MO and worth the wait, but I gotta confess, not a fan. I know there is an expected no-expectation of "service" but this one just floored me. I think I would have way better about the whole experience if the guy would have just took two seconds to say "be with you in a moment", but treating me like I wasn't there til he was ready to "deal with customers". The surprising part was, the tacos came out way faster than my order wait time!

But, I guess he has a captive audience in the patio of the White Horse, where being able to get a tasty taco at 1am without having to walk more than 5 steps and can do as he pleases...if I come back I will have someone else do the awkward wait dance for me and compensate...

Ordered on Uber Eats, 5 small tacos, a pulled pork sandwich with fries, and 2 chorizo tacos that we asked for eggs to be thrown into the mix (even said to pay extra if needed).....

whelp, an hour later my uber driver shows up with one to-go box with 3 tacos in it. a pulled pork taco w cheese, and 2 chorizo tacos(with no eggs) and thats it. all thrown in one box.

so needless to say ill be calling in the morning to try and get my money back over this bs. also... the store did not include a receipt with my order. will not be returning to eat and i strongly suggest that you do the same.

as for the presentation of my wrong order: these three tortilla wrapped slop fests do not look appetizing no matter how long youve been hammered on 6th. the onions look like small child fingernails and id rather eat rained on grass clippings than this sad excuse for cilantro. a truly dissappointing experience for tacos.

I understand its late and we ordered close to closing time (sorry, i work in the industry too and I get it)... but damn this is just astonishing to witness such a lack of care, presentation and delivery.

with an abundance of sincerity.... i hope this place closes. . they really did bomb...

YUMS. This is the perfect late night food trailer! I believe it is now parked inside of Lustre Pearl. When I tried it, the line was ridiculously long, but everyone braved it because I'm sure everyone heard of how good it was just as I had. There were only two guys in the truck working so fast and producing hundreds of quality meals. My hat goes off to them for working under such pressure. I tried the chicken nachos. Those things were so large, they could've been shared with at least 4-6 people. To top it off, they only cost me about $8! They had an abundance of freshly cooked chicken on them and were smothered in queso. As a person that believes everything should be smothered in queso, I was truly in heaven. The salsa really topped it all off because you could taste the spice and freshness of it. With such an affordable price, I will definitely be going to Bomb...
