Not a hole-in-the-wall for the neighborhood. I don’t know anyone who lives in this neighborhood who actually enjoys this establishment. It’s only open for game days, which should tell you about who this bar is actually trying to cater to (folks who don’t live in the city). I’ll also add that the owner routinely takes all the salt from the salt box meant *for the neighborhood* and aggressively salts his business, leaving none for the folks who actually live here. It’s so excessive that it’s hard to believe he isn’t doing it without malicious intent.

Good things this place is called half Irish. Asked for a Guinness and got a straight poor. As an Irish pub enthusiast, it's discouraging when you go to an Irish pub that doesn't know the right (and only) way to pour a Guinness. Don't get me wrong. I like the place. Perfect for before an O's game. And our bartender was sweet. But ... the Guinness thing is kind of a big deal to Irish people.

Good - nay, great - local establishment. Stopped in after a long stretch at the convention center, to sit down to good conversation, an introduction to Old Bay cheese puffs that I didn't know how badly I was missing, and the first of what may be many Irish Crushes. An in-house invention which caught the notice of the Baltimore Sun and is well worth the hubbub.

Terrible attention, they do not greet the customers when they arrive unless you are their friend and you sit on the bar to chat with the gentleman who was behind the bar and the waitress, we waited 15 minutes at a table and nobody came up and when I went to ask for a menu this gentleman He told me that they did not serve meals and I said ok they have some drinks menu I said not too rudely then I asked, if it was open and I did not answer and so when I started to leave I noticed that all his friends at the bar had their fresh drinks , he came up and offered us a beer and decided with my wife to take to see if they changed his attitude and apologized for the bad deal but no one approached, we just moved around the corner and we thought Recomendareste place to friends and business companions already That we are left on the way, but with this bad attention is impossible to recommend them, I hope the owner sees this and correct soon for some other...

The worst Irish pub, half or otherwise. Located in my neighborhood and with really good bones, this could be a great bar. But it isn't. The chairs are falling apart. The service is sub par. The owner is absent minded and rude. I paid for 5 songs on the jukebox and they were all skipped within 5 seconds. And worst of all: I understand they open on Orioles game days but honestly I'd have to see it to believe it; this bar is never open. I walk past it once a week: weekdays, noonish. Never open. Evenings sometimes. Never open. Once in a while I see the doors open and the chairs down, but the lights are off and nobody is there. And that's not a euphemism for how stupid the owner is. I literally have walked in and sat down twice, waited 5 minutes, and didn't see a soul. They should change their name to Brigadoon because apparently it only exists for one day once...

My mother, cousin and I made it to here at 1:10am. The bar closes at 2am. The man said it was closed when we got there and we we’re going figure out our next move before leaving since it was cold. We weren’t the only people inside, it was multiple groups of white people inside and we were the only black people. The man at the bar reported in a hostile voice that they were closed and we immediately felt uncomfortable. He wasn’t kicking anyone else out but he made sure we couldn’t stay. After getting back in our car a group of white people, from the bar hit the car behind them before driving off. So not only we’re they racist but they did a hit and run. It was St. Patrick’s day and we just wanted an Irish pub experience instead we got regular...
