Piatmore offers the best falafel and fries in Baltimore right now. I always get the spicy falafel (which isn't spicy, but is flavorful). The fries are cut thick and are never greasy. Both the bowl and the sandwich are amazing. I recommend choosing based on hunger level. The bowl offers much more food. There are tons of vegan and gluten free options. There are meat options as well. The bread is fresh. The owner/manager -I assume he's a boss bc he's always there 😀 - is very friendly. He comes out to help the staff when they get crowded. I love when everyone's working hard to get customers in and out!
I wish the meat was kosher/zabiha...so that if I ever want to cheat on my falafel with a shwarma, I can.
They also offer a rewards card, so you can get a free drink or dessert after several visits.
The baklava is sub par and the plastic utensils don't appear to be compostable. That being said, I can compost all the paper surrounding the sandwich and...
Read moreFood was decent but definitely not authentic, way overpriced i recommend going to authentic middle eastern restaurants like zaatar which is downtown and not so far from this place or shawarma house. The service was terrible. I was in line first, but the worker skipped me and helped someone else. She was rude, never greeted me, and acted like I was bothering her. I always try to be understanding especially as someone who works in customer service but she was completely rude. I ordered two sandwiches and clearly said I wanted falafel on the one with eggplant and chicken on the one without. She completely ignored my request and got it backwards. She also gave me spicy falafel without asking. The bowl I ordered was mostly pickles and onions, with barely any meat or rice. The area near the utensils was dirty, and the fries were soggy and flavorless. I felt really uncomfortable the whole time—definitely won’t be...
Read moreDecided to stop by this place bc it was close to the hospital (about 3 blocks away) and I wanted something different. I was able to order through Ubereats and pick up. I got the beef/lamb shawarma and fries. This was quite possibly the BEST sandwich I have ever had and I've had shawarmas before. The bread tasted fresh and was very soft. The meat and vegetables were juicy enough that I did not need any extra sauces. It was juicy enough but I had no problem with it dripping or being messy. As I think about it, I am suspicious that this was no shawarma to begin with...the shape of the bread, chickpea spread inside of it and the type of fresh veggies included makes me think that this is actually a Jewish SABICH sandwich?!? Anyway, it was delicious!! I do plan on going back!!..Oh serving size was also nice. Don't plan on sharing though. That sandwich is just enough for one person, couldn't...
