I was in town for a conference during the week of March 10, 2025. Two nights in a row, I stopped at the bar for a drink while waiting for my to-go order from The Yard. Both nights Maryanne was my bartender. She was absolutely excellent! She was very busy but took the time to be kind and to make me feel at home. She was very efficient and made an excellent Aperol Sprit! When my food came she went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed to take it back to my room. She did not miss a beat. This one is a keeper! I hope The Yard appreciates her as much as I did.

My husband and I enjoyed a late night dinner and a night cap at The Yard. Shante was exceptional, since we were celebrating our anniversary. Due to my allergy, Shante thought on her feet to provide a beautiful, yet delicious dessert. I have never had a fruit plate that had orange marmalade as one of the ingredients, and it was spot on! I thank Shante and her team for making Baltimore an exciting experience! Our night cap was the barrel aged old fashioned that the team aged themselves and it was delicious.

I keep coming back here for the honey Old Bay Wings. These are perfectly seasoned and cooked, I will wait however long it takes for them to come out. Service here can take some time depending on the night, but the food can be worth the wait. Despite this, the staff is extremely nice. The bar here is great, service is quick and this is a great hotel lobby bar to kick back and have conversation with a couple friends late night after a Raven's game.

My friend and I stopped here last night before our concert. They were clearly under staffed for the crowds coming after the game and before the concert. First of all I had a reservation which the front staff person didn’t even care about. Secondly it took 10 minutes to be greeted and that was only after the manager took our drink order. Our actual server came to our table one time to take our order and we didn’t see him again until we asked for our check. The food took 45 minutes to come out and that again was after the manager walked by our table and looked at his watch. We then immediately flagged down our sever and asked for our check so that we could get to the concert on time. The food was very mediocre that we didn’t even eat it. Our server never came with our check when at that time the manager clearly knowing we were upset comped our meal and we left. The manager was very kind and was trying to be helpful because we were the only table around getting the same...

I had two bad experiences here. 1) I came in around 9:30. Saw someone at the bar I knew. Talked for a minute. There were several people in line to be seated. They seated the two parties in front of me, then told me that the kitchen was closed (it was not 10 yet). Never mind the fact that they sat the two people right in front of me. He said the pizza place was open, but they don't serve beer. So we went to the bar to get a beer (that took 10 min) then by the time we walked across to the pizza place they were also "closed" - making pizzas right in front of us. Absolutely no care for the customer. Terrible, not Marriott quality. Then in the morning 2) we ordered breakfast and had to practically bend over backward to get our coffee cups filled. ...

Easily the worst beer purchasing experience I’ve ever had. Tried to buy a beer on draft and was directed to their “beer wall” that had 4 beers on it. We then had to buy a preloaded card to scan at the wall to get self-serve beer. It took about 10 minutes to get the card, and then another minute or two to pour the beer since the machine was being finicky. The beer was excellent, but would have tasted exactly the same from a traditional tap. Tried to get a refill, and the cards didn’t work, so we told the bartender who had to get the manager to reset the system to get our beer. Gave up after 2 beers, so the total came to $15/pint since the cards were prepaid. If I can convince one person to not waste their money on this gimmick beer wall, my life will...
