We were bummed about the one hour wait at a touristy place down the road. A local turned us on to Jordan's. He said "that's were the locals go". I'm so glad. We were greeted and seated in a couple minutes of coming in. The vibe is small town diner, charming and warm. Our waitress was super friendly ... the friendliest person we met on our trip. My husband ordered the western omelette. He was very pleased with the portion size and cook on the eggs. It came with a wonderful fresh baked muffin which we took in a go-bag and munched on it the next morning. :) I had the blueberry pancakes with blueberry syrup & 2 eggs over easy. They were absolutely delicious. I was so grateful that they weren't overly sweet. I couldn't stop eating them even when I was full. So good. The eggs were unexpectedly cooked to perfection. I'm always nervous about ordering over easy. This is a local home-style restaurant. The food is generous and tasty. The coffee is good. There is no bar. If you want a mimosa walk down the street.

Wife and I ate breakfast here on the last day of our vacation in Bar Harbor earlier this week. See the pic of our meal. We had a bit of everything. All employees were pleasant and friendly. The food was the best breakfast I've had in years. The first thing I noticed when we walked in was the place didn't have any of the maddeningly contradictory mask rules that you see all over Bar Harbor. The employees weren't masked and neither were most all of the clientele. This was an immediate, positive break from everything in the area. If you're not a Patriot, you won't enjoy this place. We will definitely, 100% go back to this place when we visit Bar Harbor again. Depending on the quality of the hotel's continental breakfast, we may very-well go to Jordan's every day of our next stay. I give them a 10 out of 5 stars (no typo) for the food, service, atmosphere and certainly their common sense and Patriotism. We highly recommend this place. They deserve support in these times.

Stop by for breakfast before leaving the town and it was a good experience. Good food but overpriced. Egg White Spinach + Feta + Tomato Omelette - Large omelette and a decent amount of feta, but there too many tomatoes and not enough spinach. Rye toast on the side is delicious! It Came with butter but I asked for one without. Super nice just plain toasted as well. Lobster omelette (+ mushroom) had flavor, but there was any lobster in there. Not worth $29! Chili Omelette was good; Love the flavor of the chili of its own, and it went good with the omelette too. Breakfast Sandwich was nice, but quite overpriced. It was pretty small for the amount. Yogurt Parfait - really delicious. Fresh flavorful yogurt and went really well with the granola and the fruit in there. Quite a big potion size as well, but not sure I would say it's worth $14. Blueberry Pancakes - Very very big disappointment! Very flat, and not fluffy at all! Barely any blueberries, and even the pancake batter was very pain. Tried to add the syrup that was on the table, but it did not help. But I did not help either. Took some of the yogurt from my husband's yogurt parfait and that's what made it acceptable. Blueberry Muffins were a little too sweet :(

If you are in Bar Harbor, a visit to Jordan's Restaurant is a must! Not only is their breakfast phenomenal, but the service is on a whole other level of excellent. We were first served by Kirk with coffee and his positive energy radiated through us, we will never forget him and his singing, in fact, he is mentioned everytime we speak about our trip to Bar Harbor. We need more people like Kirk in this world. Our waitress (Christy?) was also very personable and full of positive energy. They were on top of everything, and we were served super fast. As for the food, everything was served hot and fresh. The blueberry pancakes with blueberry syrup are a must, and the breakfast potatoes were excellent too. Eggs were cooked to perfection (over easy), and the coffee cup never went empty as Kirk was always on top of things. Overall, we had an awesome experience and plan on coming back on our next visit.

DONT DO IT! Stopped here as it had good reviews and seemed busy. Worst place I have eaten in years! The coffee was burnt so I asked for OJ which they handed me a tiny cardboard carton of juice. Ordered an omelet that literally looked and tasted like it was made with Kraft singles American cheese. Our booth was right beside the people cooking and one guy was separating cheese (with no gloves), puts it on top of an omelet and I see him put it in the microwave to melt it/warm it up. We watched them put plate after plate in the microwave. The homemade muffins were the only decent thing. We were also confused why one young man took our drink order and delivered them, our waitress took our food order, someone else brought the food out, our waitress never checked on us until we were ready for the check. Extremely disappointing and will definitely not be returning.

I found the place to be very erratic. We arrived to the dead time right at the end of one service. A few people just ahead of and they were refused. Not lightly with some empathy, but just turned away by the hostess gruffly. I would encourage that she be given a different job that's not customer-facing. High school hall monitors should not be given the job of hostess. What restaurant has a space between between Services anymore? Certainly fine French restaurants with a high price point and only a handful of customers. And a fine French restaurant this place is not. The food was good, the waitress was very pleasant, but they seem to have this thought that they are a hell of a lot more than they are. It's a tourist trap with decent food and a pretty view. It does explain why there were only a few handfuls of customers.
