I’ve had an association with the USA for over 30 years, firstly during my 20 years of service in the British military and more recently on several vacations. Never in that time have I seen such aggression and rudeness as I received on Friday evening from a member of staff at Blue Moose Pizza. It was extraordinary. Yes, I know you were busy and under pressure. However, if a take-out pizza is taking 60 to 75 minutes to cook, tell customers that. That’s ok. Don’t tell your customers 45 minutes, have them walk 10 minutes in the snow and then expect them to simply accept the extra wait time in the cold because you are busy. Yes, I know I could have handled things differently and my attempt at humour fell flat. I’m sorry for that. However, for the staff member at the take-out window to become so aggressive so quickly and immediately cancel my order because I expressed dissatisfaction is totally unacceptable. The staff member at the take-out window kept shouting at me “There’s nothing else I can do”. Yes there was. An alternative approach could have been to apologise, say you’ve asked the kitchen to prioritise the order and invite me inside the restaurant, from the cold, to wait. To add insult, the same staff member told me to “Find him yourself” when I asked to speak to the manager. Credit to the manager when I did find him for bringing some semblance of customer service to the situation. Credit also to the offending staff member for apologising to me. After hearing from some southern vacationers that they had a bad experience we chuckled and thought "they can't be right we have always enjoyed it there" and walked over with normal enthusiasm but actually the customer-side employees had as poopy of an attitude as I have seen around the valley and they also egregiously underestimated how long it would take for us to get our order (30 min actually vs 15 they told us which was very relevant with babies and waning sunlight).
Then despite zero comments or attitude from our side the two up front acted soooooo put off when we simply asked for a bag to carry the order.
I am a local in the service industry as well and all i can say is if you don't like to work and feel underpaid or whatnot then get out of that job and go somewhere else and please stop bringing your off-putting attitude to what is a joyous family atmosphere based on SERVICE...
Then the preposterous tip signs for 25% THAT IS FOR PEOPLE WHO GIVE A hoot not you losers.

Today, I found out that I will never go again. I advise anybody to take my warning. $45 for two 12-inch BURNED pizzas. On top of them being charcoaled, they were soggy/floppy, as you can see by the massive amounts of grease in the picture. The taste is equivalent to DiGiorno Walmart brand oven baked pizza now. For some reason, they changed their, once, delicious recipe. Save your time and money and just eat in Vail or Avon. My kids ate it but asked for Domino's instead the whole entire time.
Something that also needs to be mentioned for those of you who unfortunately will go through the same nightmare. I put my phone number in to be informed when I needed to pick up my order. 30 minutes passed, and I still didn't receive a text. So I just decided to walk from my resort back to Blue Moose, thinking it was an input error. Especially since they were not busy. When I got there, I immediately got my order and walked back to my resort. About 25 minutes later, I finally got a text message from them stating that my order was ready. So my pizzas would have just been sitting there cold...
