We have been coming to this spa for several years now, there's always a mix up but we continue to give it a try. We had 2 appointments booked for the holiday weekend. One for me, that I attended and my service with Myra was wonderful. The second service was for my husband. First when I made the appointment 3 weeks in advance, I requested a female therapist, a week before my appointment the spa called and were unable to accommodate. We kept the appointment anyway. Within 36 hours of that appointment, I received 2 email confirmations with an incorrect time, both times that my husband could not attend due to a work obligation. I contacted the spa at 8am that day (they open at 9am) I left a message explaining the error and what time he COULD attend or perhaps make an appointment later that day. I also went to the front desk for them to make a note as I would be unavailable at 9am when the spa opened. The front desk of the hotel made a note and my husband went over to the spa at the conclusion of his work commitment where he was met with Jordan who was beyond unprofessional. She stated that she quote "1,000% spoke with me to confirm the appointment that morning". Which was impossible as I wasn't even in the building at 9am. She was rude and arrogant. She refused to credit my husband for the service he was not going to receive because we didn't give them 24hrs notice. The error was on exhales part, they sent not one but TWO incorrect confirmations. Luckily the Hotel Park Hyatt was incredibly helpful to remedy the problem. Perhaps Jordan should return to training where the customer is always right or at least learn how they are to be treated with respect.
To follow up on this review: I just spoke with Yaku the manager of the spa since it's a separate entity of the resort. He was super friendly, kind and very positive customer service. She said they were fully committed so I said Tuesday. She said they were fully committed so I said Wednesday. At this point I was super aggravated because I had my ski gear on and thought this would be quick. She proceeds to tell me after we get to Thursday that they are all booked up due to a conference. So I proceeded to ask her why she wouldnât have told me that in the very beginning. She commented that I was berating her and she was going to hang up on me. I proceeded to go down to the spa where she met me with a fake attitude and aggression. After we said what we had to say I went out to speak with the Manager Marissa at the Park Hyatt and she followed me up there only to yell that I was going to be banned from their spa forever. No problem theyâre not the only game in town and I wouldnât go to their spa if they offered me a free pass at this point. Her cues really help you to fine tune your workout and understand what you should be doing to accomplish the best workout possible. Maura is a fantastic yoga instructor. Her intuitive knowledge of what you need in class makes every class an energizing and peaceful experience. Nathalie is also an energetic leader and really helps you expand your limits in her amazing Barr classes. Celine at the front desk and handling retail and marketing makes coming to the spa / fitness center such a joy. She is amazing at explaining and referring you to the the treatments perfect for you. In the spa Tiana and Morgan offer treatments beyond compare. You leave feeling rejuvenated, relaxed and glowing. Marnie in the salon makes getting a mani / pedi such a relaxing experience.
