So let's " sandwich " this. The food tasted really good. It was surprising as I noticed that the place has an " OK" rating. (Per my friends / contacts with the Department of Health , getting " an "excellent " is not hard). The place is also clean. Although there is concern that when I watched refill the ice in the soda machine, the ice is not covered. I do love the soda machine that adds an exponential variety of beverages and who doesn't love free refills that most fast food places have removed these days? The staff are a different story. They do not even acknowledge you or treat you with respect. Look, I get it, it Burger King and not some fancy Bistro. I also understand that staff is understaffed and " busy." We all are. In my generation, though, it's considered etiquette to at least acknowledge someone at the order counter and say " I will be right with you" or " i will be with you in a couple of minutes" . Apparently, this is too much to ask here and a few other places. They just ignore you like you're not there even while looking at you. They continue on their tasks or talking to each other in a foreign language. This behavior sets a message and a tone that you are so unimportant that you are not even worth acknowledging. When I was finally able to order and the food was prepared, they slid the tray under the arms of someone who was ordering. All this gives one the impression that this place is staffed with workers that have the interpersonal skills of an ox. That, or it gives the impression that they are not terribly bright. Again, I understand this is Burger King. I'm not looking for Jeopardy TV show contestants, but may not the guy on Wheel of Fortune asking if there is a letter "F" in Pharoah. I just wish Management would talk to these kids about...
Read moreFirst experience: I ordered online and went to the restaurant to pick up the order. There were maybe 5-6 people waiting for their orders. There were 3 people working - 2 in the back making orders, one in the front taking orders, putting together orders, refilling cup lids... basically doing everything else. Service was super slow as a result. I had to go to the cash register to tell him I ordered online. Then he printed the ticket and put it in the queue, so even though I ordered online, I had to wait anyway as if I had ordered in the restaurant. I waited about 30 minutes to get my order.
Second experience: I had a craving for a chicken sandwich, so I ordered online, this time for delivery. I put the order in online at 12:39 PM, it was delivered at 2:15 PM. Doing some quick math, that's 1 hr 35 minutes. I live 8 minutes away, and according to DoorDash, the driver arrived at the restaurant at 1:21 PM.
In both cases, the food tasted fine - about what you'd expect from Burger King. However, if you order from here, expect to spend a lot of time waiting. This is by no means...
Read moreAbsolutely deplorable. I went through drive-thru Saturday, 4 sept, night at bout 7:30. Waited at speaker, asked if they were open, honked, no response. After 5 minutes pulled forward to window. Taped to the far edge of the menu board is un-readable sign that I would later learn states only their drive-thru is open. At the window: all the lights are on, bags of food are waiting, I can see employees walking about in the back corners. I wait. I honk. I call. I wait. I honk more. I call again. Nothing. I went around to try going in, the door was locked, and there was the same sign stating only drive-thru is open. I loudly bang on the door repeatedly but no one answers. When I finally give up and return to my car, an employee taking a break in his car tells me to go through the drive-thru, I tell him I did, and he just keeps telling me the lobby is closed I need to go through drive-thru. I've never come across such a horribly managed fast-food restaurant as this one. Do yourselves a favor: don't go to this...
