I have been here numerous times since this location was built. The drive through has always been a chaotic long line however Covid hasn't helped it. Yesterday I was nearby and wanted to pickup some dinner to bring home so I placed my order via the app for drive thru pickup. Don't know why I even bothered when it didn't save me any time in line but cost me more time filling it out prior to arriving there. After sitting in line for probably 15 minutes the car behind me got rear ended by the truck in line behind it, so atleast my visit wasn't THAT bad. However the salad I ordered for my wife was not in my bag when I left. Being the way they run the drive though I didn't check contents since there isn't anywhere to stop.(my bad, shouldn't need to) So after making the ~25 minute drive back to woodinville I find out we didnt get the salad. And I'm not wasting another hour of my life to get it. Am I more angry about the $9.55 I paid for the salad or the fact my wife didn't get anything? I don't know. I guess in the future I'll just drive the distance to the Kirkland location because you'll spend the same amount of time waiting in line!
Edit:
I dropped this review down to one star from two. Prior to writing this review I had filled out a customer feedback form through the CFA app. They emailed me back on the 21st and here is a snippet of the response:
"We've shared your comments with the appropriate people at Chick-fil-A, Inc., and with the restaurant you visited, which is independently owned and operated. Someone from restaurant leadership will aim to respond to you within 2-3 business days."
Well surprise, surprise I still haven't seen any calls or emails from this location and it's been over a week since I reviewed this email. I guess they just truly don't care! Moral of the story still is: drive to the Kirkland location and get your food there. You'll make it there and back in the same time AND get all the food...
Read moreI was pretty surprised when I walked over here and found out that it was a drive-through and to-go only, with no sit-down anywhere in the restaurant. Probably should've done more research beforehand I got the Original Chicken Sandwich & 5 count nuggets, with Buffalo sauce. I really like how consistent Chick-fil-A is with their sandwich. I've been to locations on either coast of the US, and it's been basically the same sandwich everywhere. The buns are a little small, but well-toasted and buttered. Importantly, the chicken just has that Chick-fil-A like taste, no matter where you go. I feel like if I were given 10 chicken sandwiches from 10 places, I would be able to tell which one the Chick-fil-A was just from the taste. The sandwich was breaded pretty well, with some decent crunch at points. The inside meat wasn't dry, but it wasn't really juicy either - kind of landing in that middle range where it's just good enough
My issues with the Chick-fil-A sandwich are the same here as always - the sandwich is too dry and there's not enough seasoning. I think any kind of sauce would go a long way towards making this sandwich not taste one-note and dry the whole time. I get that you can technically pour the sauce on top of the chicken, but that shouldn't have to be required - it should just come on the sandwich itself Also, there just isn't enough salt, pepper, or other seasonings on the chicken. Popeyes does this much better, in my opinion, which is why I prefer their sandwich
The nuggets were pretty good. They're breaded well, and similar to the sandwich patty - it lands in the middle where it's enjoyable, but with the sauce. I do really like their buffalo sauce, however
For the price, getting a sandwich & 5 nuggets for just 10 bucks is a pretty cheap lunch. It's generally filling as well
Overall, can't go wrong with a Chick-fil-A sandwich, and I really wish they had more locations in the Seattle...
