Commons Cafe — Restaurant in Bellevue

This is hands down the worst chicken teriyaki I have ever had. It was a very small portion of meat.The chicken is not a whole breast or thigh which is grilled and then sliced. It is pre-sliced then cooked in small pieces on a griddle. It has no grilled, barbecue flavor you get with good teritaki. Also no marinade on chicken so it is is dry and uninteresting.. As it is cooked on the same grill (I asume) as other grilled sandwiches, it picks up a greasy flavor.

The salad was fresh enough but had a ranch dressing, which is unusual with a teriyaki meal.The broccoli was pre-steamed and then microwaved and also had a strange flavor. No point in pre-steaming a vegetable and then microwaving as it just becomes rubbery. It's hard to screw up microwave broccoli, but they did.
