I booked an appointment for a partial highlight at 1:00 PM. I have a pixie haircut, but the salon’s website didn’t offer an option to indicate my hair length, so I proceeded without it and allowed the system to assign a stylist at random, as I don’t know a specific stylist.
I arrived on time, but wasn’t seated until after 1:15 PM. After I explained the color and the small haircut adjustments I wanted, the stylist returned to tell me she couldn’t do my hair because she wasn’t experienced with short hairstyles.
Please note, I took time off work to attend this appointment. Not only was I seated late, but I was also told the stylist couldn’t perform the service. After some back and forth and her attempting to find another stylist, around 1:50 PM she agreed to proceed with the highlights but not the haircut.
While I appreciate her effort, I’m very disappointed with the result. The highlight pattern looks outdated and the color doesn’t match what I showed her. I don’t place all the blame on the stylist — she did what she could — but I do think the salon’s booking system should prevent clients with short hair from being assigned to someone without the proper experience.
In the end, I paid $270 in addition to tip and tax for a result I’m not happy with at all, on top of the time and work hours I lost. I hope the salon takes this feedback seriously and improves the booking process...

This review isn't a reflection of the stylists themselves, as they were all friendly and professional. I'd been wanting to try this salon for a while, and when I called to ask for information, they mentioned they offer free bang trims. When I booked my appointment, the stylist I saw also confirmed that bang trims were free for existing clients.
A couple of months later, I went back for a bang trim, only to be told that it would now cost $25. I explained that I was told otherwise, and the receptionist told me that the stylist I originally saw would need to honor the free trim, as the policy had changed. Unfortunately, that stylist was on maternity leave, and I was told they would find someone else to take care of it and follow up with me. I never received a follow-up, so I reached out again, only to be told that the trim would still cost $25.
I'll be taking my business elsewhere. It's clear they're unwilling to stick to something that was promised to me or find it worth $25/15 min on their end to try to keep me as a customer. That tells me enough about them as a business and how they value customer...
Read moreIt’s now a year later from my appointment with Tee and my hair is still in recovery/falling out. I have invested a lot of money in the recovery and my hair hasn’t and probably won’t be the same for another 2 years. Please be careful when booking here. After looking at the rest of the reviews I’m starting to notice a pattern in the 1 stars.
DO NOT COME HERE! Tee completely ruined my hair…it’s totally fried. I honestly can’t believe this place is charging so much for such terrible service. For the price, you’d think they’d at least use some hair oil or give a care about the quality of the service, but nope. I paid for a solid balayage, wash and style, and when I walked out, my hair looked like horse hay. $700+ dollars down the drain. you know it was bad because she didn’t even post it to her beautiful insta feed of hair inspo she does… don’t be fooled. On top of that, when I walked in, no one even bothered to acknowledge me. This place is a joke. Stay away if you care about your hair or being treated like a customer. I’ve attached photos of the damage+ inspo photo vs what I got so you can see...
