Very discriminating! My wife and I after 2y without going out, finally got a night off and someone to watch over our daughter (1.5 years old) to experience this super embarrassing situation.
First we got there and find out that there are no seating available, except if you pay for it. So there it goes $300. After that we experienced a not so busy house with a very slow service. It would always take a long time to order and even longer to receive what you ordered.
As if that was not enough, people start taking our tables and chairs without any intervention from the staff. We had literally to call out waitress and say:”excuse me but I don’t think it’s fair that this group of people take advantage to our table like this, after all we paid for it” she then give a lame excuse why she haven’t done anything about it, and went talk to them.
After that, this group with some other group start provoking us, using our chair and table to: thigh their shoes; put empty glasses and food trays on our table; trashes;etc. first time I asked politely to don’t do this, second time I kicked out their glass only to see the security staff coming right after me for doing it! they embarrassed me in front of everyone asking me to leave. only because my wife and I are Latinos and were trying to stand to these “white” group of people that were provoking us? At any moment they went to the group to ask why I did that or to “kick they out” too.
I was mad so I promptly offer to pay for my bill and go home cause at that point and had no more interest in staying in a place like this. While the waitress were getting our bill we had the security standing in our table like if were dogs that needed to be watched.
The waitress finally arrived and we refuse to pay the gratuity (after all we were being kicked out). When we said that, it only got worse. The waitress hold to my card, the security took us out and they said that if I don’t pay the gratuity they would hold to my card and use it to pay for everything.
Again, I was all the time calm and polity with people and promptly I ofer to pay whatever I own and leave. But I was treated with no respect, with a clear discrimination over my race and relatively broke English. There was no repercussions over the group of people that started that, only us. Read moreIn hospitality business there is no need for treating customers rudely and unprofessionally. My drink was poured wrong quantity. When I noted this to the bartender she brought an entire bottle and spilled the drink on my shirt and the counter. Absolutely aggressive uncalled for attitude. I noted this the manager on duty and requested her to note the cameras. I goto the other side of the bar and order the same drink and this time magically the same exact drink costs $4 more than what I had paid just 20 mins ago. I have been to suite uncountable times, given them thousands of dollars in business and group as well as work events however I will mot tolerate some untrained bar tender to behave the way she did. The theme of rudeness at suite is consistent and seems now to me more of a management issue than staff issue. If management cannot train their staff on ethics then such an establishment should not exist. The least I expect is a manager to reach out and at least try to understand what transpired or simply check the cameras between 10:15-11 PM.
I think the problem is ME: I decided to goto Suite one more time last weekend March 14th. Coming from owning 14 restaurants and also hosting several large parties here at Suite I was appalled to see the service standards at Suite this past Friday March 14th (lat night). I had just entered suite and ordered a drink from a the bar towards the dance floor side. I did not push anyone or spoke to anyone except the Bar Tender who knows me from past visits. Suddenly I get a elbow shove from a middle eastern man who claimed I took his spot (the spot was empty). Now I get another big push from them and almost run into more people. At this time I stood up and asked them to stop. Quietly one of them got a security guard an I was the one escorted out while the other 2 remained there. This was almost unbelievable as at no point I caused any of this or instigated or did something that would make them ask me to leave and not the other two. Look into this, fix it, and most importantly fix the people you have hired, they profile for sure and who knows this young security person was friends with the other two as none of their actions made sense. Read moreI don't like giving businesses bad reviews, however I just had a terrible time here.
I came here for my birthday a couple weeks ago with a few of my friends. I had made a reservation two weeks prior for 7pm. The were kind enough to call a few days prior to remind me of my reservation and to confirm that I would be in attendance. I had asked for additional time, however I was told I don't need to request extra time since I had a party less than 8.
When I arrived at the lounge, the host told me that I was expected to leave the table by 9:15 since my table was reserved for 9:30. I was pretty annoyed since I had already asked more time previously. I disagreed with that arrangement and he told me he would talk to his manager. They also suggested that we could sit outside if we wanted to stay longer… it was raining, in September, and my hair would have been a mess.
Our table was ignored for OVER 20 minutes. No water, no drinks, nothing. I'm not sure how they expected us to be out of there by 9:15 with such SLOW service. Our appetizers were cold. the salmon dish I ordered was not worth the $32 that they charged for it. It looked like a TV dinner. I asked for my salmon to be medium well, it was super dry. The service was very slow and we still had to leave our table. The drinks were alright. It wasn't even busy when we arrived at 7, so I don't really understand why things were so slow. Especially with a time limit in place. Our waiter messed up our checks and included the wrong items onto the wrong person's bill.
Although the manager gave us a complimentary bottle of champagne, and lounge seating after we had to leave our table. But it did not improve the service. Do not recommend.
