The baristas a year or two ago were friendly and made great drinks. The barista I keep encountering lately is in fact, like other reviewers have mentioned, extremely unfriendly, is always off somewhere else in the hotel so I have to wait for him to show up, and makes subpar drinks.    Read moreYou have to go inside the Revolution Hotel to find the coffee shop. Thereâs usually only one person working there, and it might take them some time to acknowledge your existence. Prices are a little high and surprisingly, they donât have vanilla as a flavor option. They have counter seating; however, the counters are too high for the stools and it makes it uncomfortable. Plus, theyâre too narrow to use a laptop. And this is the only coffee shop I know where the only sweetener they offer is Equal. I stopped by for the first time, I was feeling for an iced drink, asked for his recommendation and had a single origin cold brew which was terrific with a hint of sweetness just like he said. A perfect afternoon coffee. Sweet potato Parmesan scone was bit salty to my liking but an interesting flavor combo. We also had a nice chat about the chocolate bars from Iceland it sells.
