Rome Pizza & Grill — Restaurant in Boston

I thought about giving 2 stars but after much consideration I’ve decided drop it down to a 1. This is because the pizza was in fact hot and delivered fast, and admittedly was pretty tasty going down, but not so tasty coming back up. We ordered the chicken Alfredo pizza and it made both me and my wife very sick shortly after eating. We spent the rest of the night praying we could expel whatever it was that made us sick, and given that was our only meal fresh off of a 3 hours flight, we can only assume it was because of this pie.

Considering it took you almost a year to respond to my review, I can see why you wouldn’t find any recent takeout orders for that specific pie. Also, I appreciate your advice on basic food storage, however at no point did I imply that we are this 3-4 hours after delivery. We ate the pizza when it was still hot, and it still made my wife very sick. Whether or not you want to believe you had a delivery order for that day, it doesn’t change the fact that Your. Food. Made. Us. Sick.

this is my to go pizza place. i usually order subs and fries here. sometimes, i would order pizza. however, pizza takes them like 20mins to wait but it's because they make it fresh to order.

the last time that i was here was yday. i was so hungry and knew that the food would take a while to make. so, i ordered the pizzas by the slice that's already made behind the counter (in like a square box). i got a cheese slice, pepperoni slice, and chicken and broccoli slice. i said that i'll take it to go. he was going to heat it up for me in their oven but i said no because i was too hungry and that i want to bring it home to eat right away. he joked with me. friendly ppl there. that guy is usually there at the front taking orders. i asked if i could use my credit card since it was under $10 (3 huge slices for under $10) and he says yes and of course. great. because i...

I will give them the benefit of the doubt that their food is pretty good, but what drives me nuts about this place is the service. I don't know how it happens but a few times i get calls from the drivers saying they are there, then call back 2 minutes later at the wrong address. Also whoever the guy is that takes the orders is a complete donkey, he acts like the world is coming to an end every time you want to pay with credit/debit card. If it is such a hassle then don't offer to accept it and make everyone pay in cash.
