I would give this place 5 stars on the service alone. Katie did an amazing job handling guests & working the bar area. The food was amazing in itself! That Tony Orlando salad was delicious with a great balance of all those toppings along with the homemade Italian dressing. My wife and I also wanted to split it so that was a great way to do it because it was certainly big enough. I got the Italian Beef sandwich with fries. Man, I miss those Italian Beefs from Chicago. This one did not disappoint one bit! Great blend of shaved roast beef, peppers, and mozzarella! The au jus was a great accompaniment. We also decided to splurge on a deep dish, the Mr. G's Signature, and that one did not disappoint. It was their twist on the deep dish supreme. And it was balanced well with all the toppings! We will definitely be back when we are back in town. Oh and the pictures are togo boxes because we originally wanted the order to go.. But they were awesome enough to accommodate us when our plans changed last minute!

Had a job in Branson near The Landing. A customer told me I should try Mr. G’s Pizza and since I love pizza I had to give it a try. Went yesterday and bought the Italian Beef sandwich and went back today for the pizza. The place is clean with a fun vibe, staff were super friendly, parking in the area was not bad, prices reasonable, and the food was great. The sandwich was loaded with beef and mozzarella and was served with au jus for dipping. I ordered the Parmesan fries for the side. Sandwich was almost too much for one person but I ate it all anyways. (Didn’t get a picture of it-sorry.) I ordered a small thin crust pepperoni pizza for lunch today. (See picture) It’s not a crispy thin crust and that’s ok because I prefer a soft thin crust. It was fantastic. I think with an appetizer two people could share a small pizza and be fine but I had no problem finishing the whole thing off by myself today. I’m only a short 40 minute drive from Branson and am sure I’ll be back for more Mr. G’s.

Being born and raised from Chicago, Having raised my kids there, I feel I have a god sense of what Chicago Pizza joints are all about. I was worried when I brought my wife there who’s never had chicago pizza and is from the south, that Mr.G’s would be a good representation of what Chicago pizza is all about. They did not disappoint me. The thin crust pizza was very good and very authentic. She’s not a fan of deep dish, and I couldn’t eat one myself, but I was extremely impressed. This easily could have been on Maxwell Street for all I knew. Great job guys, keep up the good work. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ update 10/15/2023. Went back for another visit. This time my wife and I I skipped the pizza and ventured out into their sandwiches. I got the Italian beef sandwich and my wife got the grilled chicken. Holy COW! Delicious! So so good. Will make this a must stop each and every time we visit.

We ordered over the phone because my 4 yr old granddaughter was with me. They told us 35 minute. My granddaughter and I walked in 40 minutes after our order and tried to find a staff member. Only people we could find were behind the bar. After 3 staff members ignored my questions, I finally got ones attention. She had me pay for my order, but before I would give her the signed receipt I made her go to get my order she came back saying it would be a few more minutes as it was just coming out of oven. My 4 yr old granddaughter sat at the bar as we waited because there was nowhere else to wait. Another couple came up who had call in take out also. The gentleman behind the bar asked how long it had been since they placed the order. The said 30 minutes. He told them it would be closer to 45 and asked if they wanted a free drink. He took their orders and they sat down. As I tried to get his attention to see about getting a Sprite for my granddaughter since we had already been waiting for over 15 minutes they brought our food. As I was trying to get my granddaughter would was hungry and thirsty and tired of waiting off the bar stool, her flip flop came off. Thank you to the gentleman who was also waiting for picking up her flip flop, I hope they were quicker with your food and at least they gave you a free beer and your wife a Long Island Ice Tea. As for the Chicago style pizza it wasn't that good. The sauce had to much oregano and there wasn't enough cheese. They never asked if I needed a plastic forks for my salad so can only guess if it will be worth eating. The Bosco cheese sticks we're good. Over all, there are better places...

The pizza tasted great. HOWEVER, I have never experienced the type of customer service My family received. It’s as if we were wearing shirts that said “we are here to ruin your day..” the blonde and heavier set brunette girls were horridly rude. We walked in looking for a table “seat yourself” the blonde told us expect an hour wait. After giving us a hateful almost please leave stare as we came in. We sat maybe 5 minutes after waiting as multiple tables opened up. This is 7:00 prime dinner time. The brunette girl came over and tossed menus hastily at our table and asked us what we wanted to drink. Trying to kill them with southern hospitality kindness we politely order with a thank you. We got our drinks and a hateful “do you know what you want to eat?” We said yes, ordered and she huffed away.

We got our food and it was correct, it was great. Aside for her tossing my deep dish down on the table with a hot pad and it not even sitting properly on the wood tray they have for the dish. They never came back to check on us. They checked on all the other tables and spoke nicely to them since we overheard.

I will never come back to this establishment. As a restaurant owner I understand that finding good help is hard but the owner has a cancer and needs to rid themselves of it before it affects foot traffic. Had customer service been good this would be my GO-TO.

Terrible terrible hateful and distasteful customer service but good pizza. Order takeout, tip $0 owner wins...

Updated review: I had the opportunity to eat some lunch and unfortunately sat next to a couple who were in a heated argument for 30 minutes. After leaving a poor review on the experience because I thought it was the owner the actual owner of the restaurant reached out to me and apologized. Come to find out it was the boyfriend of one of the girls working there and something tells me she cooked her goose on this one.

Fortunately I had the opportunity to speak with the owner who is a super awesome guy and he offered to buy me lunch which I feel is exceptionally generous considering the circumstances.

Outside of the conflict the food was good and well prepared. The portion was a larger portion than expected and above average in taste and presentation. The salad was clean and crisp and obviously fresh and the cheese was higher quality probably Roma. The pepperonis were average but the fact that there was probably 12 of them surrounding the salad was exceptional. The price was average to above-average for the area but probably below average overall for a tourist area. The chicken on the salad was fresh hot and juicy, Probably the best part of the salad.

Overall I consider the salad to be above average and it was a wonderful treat indeed. The building is nice, clean and updated and I found all of the amenities to be above-average.

Note: I tried hard but never did see the bottom...
