Walk into HighSide Brewery and you’ll notice the mountain views, the killer beer list, and the lively crowd—but none of that hits quite like Scottie. This guy doesn’t just serve beer, he serves vibes. He’s the kind of bartender who remembers your name, your order, and probably what bad decisions you made last time you were here.

Scottie runs the bar like it’s his personal comedy club—quick with a joke, a story, or a sarcastic quip that makes you feel like you’ve been friends for years. He somehow keeps the drinks flowing, the atmosphere buzzing, and the whole place feeling like the best house party you’ve ever been to… except with better beer and no risk of someone stealing your coat.

If you’re in Breckenridge and skip HighSide, that’s on you. But if you make it here and don’t ask for Scottie? That’s basically a crime against fun.

An unfortunate experience for our family of five. We sat down so excited to eat at a highly rated spot in breck. However after ordering we were not given our food until a full hour later, which anyone with kids knows how painful that wait is. They handed out “sorry we are so backed up” baskets of tortilla chips to other patrons but left our family waiting with nothing. When our food finally came 2/3 meals were incorrect. Stopped by Highside Brewery while in Breckenridge and I’m so glad I did! Tried a few of their IPAs and every single one was spot-on fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. You can really taste the quality and care that goes into their brewing. The atmosphere is laid-back and welcoming, with that perfect Breck mountain charm.
