Back from celebrating my brother's 40th in Breckenridge, and the highlight by far, was the 5-course private dinner Chef Steven put together.

It's always a bit nerve wracking planning an event from a distance, especially a dinner where you haven't personally experienced the chef's food yet.

Chef made everything a breeze. The communication was impeccable, and he thought of things I hadn't considered, even bringing enough china for a 5 course meal for 16. He, and his right hand in the kitchen for the night, Christian, were a joy to have at the house.

As far as the food- we can't say enough. I genuinely can't imagine finding a better chef. We're still debating which course was the best three days later. Each course (sourced as locally as possible) built off the last, and finished with a dessert that left my brother scrounging in the kitchen for anything that might have been left in a piping bag or bowl.
