I would not recommend this place. I’m not from chicago and i’m simply trying to get dinner for my boyfriend and i delivered to our hotel. We place the order and they tell us it’s going to be an hour which is fine. An hour later they show up with the complete wrong pizza and keep the money my boyfriend handed to them while taking the pizza. So, not only are we out $16 we still don’t have dinner. We call to get it re-made and possibly a free side or refund. The lady on the phone was very rude and rushed my boyfriend to get off the phone. She kept telling us she would give us a “credit” for the wrong pizza order and having to wait another hour for it to come back to us. We then explained that we were from out of state so a “credit” wouldn’t do us much good. So, we asked if we could add to our order with that “credit” and she said yes, so i thought, that’s great we will get our correct pizza and extras for their mess up. She then said it would be another dollar for the stuff we added on. Clearly she didn’t understand what a credit meant and was very confusing and rude about it all. So, she then states that she is just going to give us the food and get it sent out again so she can answer other phone calls and basically be done dealing with us. Read moreI would like to give this restaurant no stars but the one star would come in to play because of the cashier and the cook. I ordered my pizza on grub hub at 11:45am and picked it up at 11:55 am. My order stated it wouldn't be ready until 12pm. But I like to get to restaurants earlier if I place a grubhub because its most likely done before the time they say. But anyways I get there and my pizza was not fresh, so I asked the cashier if they had any fresh pizza available. She asks the manager ( not sure of his name) and he was a complete jerk. He said they make there pizza fresh all the time but clearly the pizza I was handed was not fresh. So I asked the cook was it a big issue for me wanting my food that I paid for fresh and he said : NO and I do apologize about this matter. So the manager asked the cook once he went back to get me the fresh slices I preferred and the manager asked him was I ordering more ( as far as paying for another order). The cook handed me the pizza and told me to have a great day. This is no good customer service at all on the managers part. I would not recommend this location just because of MANAGEMENT !!!!!!!!!!!!! YOU GUYS NEED A NEW MANAGER ...................THE POOR STAFF HAS TO DEAL WITH THIS...
Read moreIf you tend to order more than one pizza at a time & those pizzas tend to be different crust types & enjoy having the wrong toppings on the wrong crust, then this is the location for you! About 30% of the time, this is what happens. Despite them having you confirm the order twice as you place it, despite their digital POS giving them multiple internal tickets with the details & them appending yet another ticket to the order upon release, clearly no one on site actually checks them to be sure they're correct.
Despite being the only option we have for delivery which doesn't use UberEats or DoorDash, we will no longer be ordering from this place. They charge far too much for their allegedly premium ingredients to take so little care with what goes out the door.
For some people, ordering pizza is a rare, guilty pleasure. It's only worth doing if it pushes all those comfort buttons when it shows up.
