I highly recommend Igby's for a private party/celebration. My son turned 30 last week so his wife surprised him with a gathering of friends and family on the upper floor of Igby's. The room is nicely decorated and has a number couches and comfortable chairs for seating. In addition there are standing tables on the outdoor balcony adjacent to the party room. There is also an amazing stone fireplace in the party room but it was not lit during our party. There is a full bar in the party room and was staffed for the entire event. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The bartenders provided a generous pour for each well drink. The restrooms are close by and were extremely clean. Early in the evening the restrooms ran out of paper towels to dry our hands but a quick notification to one of the bar staff immediately rectified the situation. We all had a great time celebrating my son's 30th birthday thanks to his wife and the folks a Igby's. I don't have any experience with ordering any food or enjoying the bar outside of this event so I can't...

Igby’s – The Pre-Game Cathedral of Cincinnati

If you’re rolling into a Cincinnati weekend looking for the perfect pre-drink spot, Igby’s is the move. This place nails the balance between upscale and effortlessly cool—the kind of bar where the bartenders don’t just pour drinks; they own the room. The swagger is real, the cocktails are on point, and the energy sets the tone for a proper night out.

Good music, dim lighting, and just the right crowd make it a spot where you can kick back with friends, get into the night’s groove, or wrap things up with a final round. If you’re out on a weekend in Cincy and not stopping by Igby’s, are you even...

Most of the appeal to this place is decor. It looks great inside. They have a small balcony area upstairs that looks out over downtown which is a nice place to be during the summer. The downstairs area is often too packed to even move comfortably or order a drink, if I do go I usually fight my way upstairs and stay there. Honestly nothing extremely special about this bar. If you're bored and just wanna try something new try it in the summer, get a drink and hang on...

My first impression of Igby’s was great. My wife & I popped in here on Thursday night for some cocktails and were thoroughly blown away by the creative cocktails we tried there. The old-brick interior, dim lighting, and classy feel of the bar created a great atmosphere that is great for a date night or a few drinks with friends. Its location near Fountain Square makes it easy to walk to from much of the downtown area, and it’s close to several other bars and restaurants.

Very classy and trendy cocktail bar. The drinks they serve here are elevated and expensive, but the quality of their cocktails is exceptional. I really enjoyed the ambiance. The staff was super accommodating and attentive for our large group (with no reservation). We had a fantastic visit here. The restrooms are down a flight of stairs, though they may have an accessible way to get down there. I can't wait for a reason to come back here again!
