We arrived at the restaurant around 8:00 PM, were promptly seated, and placed our dinner order. For nearly 50 minutes, there was no update on our food, and no one checked in on us. When we asked the hostess about the delay, her response was dismissive and arrogant, saying the kitchen was backed up and they were “doing the best they can.”
Another 30 minutes later (now 9:20 PM), she returned to inform us — without any apology — that due to a miscommunication, the kitchen had not prepared our food at all. We spoke with the manager, hoping for some accountability, but were met with the same indifferent attitude and no attempt at resolution. When we asked if we could speak to someone else, we were directed to the front desk. We waited there another 10 minutes, but no one ever showed up. At that point, with the evening ruined and other restaurants closing, we simply left.

Read moreI’m so happy to have found this restaurant - it was truly a special experience. Rarely in life have I been welcomed with such kindness and warmth. From the moment we arrived, Jeff and Sandra were absolutely outstanding. They greeted us with genuine care and friendliness, even offering water and food for my service dog.
The service was impeccable, and the food was simply flawless. We ordered the penne Alfredo with an incredible steak, the penne Alfredo with chicken, and the meatballs with penne - and every single dish was perfect. The wine was also excellent!
They even took the time to introduce us to the chefs and the dedicated kitchen staff, which made the whole experience feel even more personal and meaningful. I would come back a thousand times. The price was fair, and more importantly, I left feeling truly happy....
Read moreHighly highly recommend Amala Restaurant and Bar.
We accidentally ended up at Amala Restaurant and Bar while visiting Niagara Falls - could be one of the best accidents. Each and every dish was absolutely amazing. The family had penne with shrimp alfredo, Burgers and the fillet minion and ended with the tiramisu. I dont know which one was better than the other. The review would be incomplete if I did not mention Jeff, the Manager... he was simply amazing. He took care of us like family. When I started thinking we were special, I saw he was going from table to table taking care of everybody. What an amazing guy. The server was courteous, very welcoming. The Bartender sure knew how to mix the drinks. Amala could be one of the best kept secrets of Niagara Falls. Very conveniently located with great food and...
