I placed an order ahead of time through the Moes App that gave me a pickup time of 6:22 PM. I waited until a little after 6:30 PM when the one person staffed in the entire restaurant informed me that they were out of food. He’d need at least an additional 25-30 minutes to cook it. He apologized as the morning person apparently left him in a bad spot without any food prepared. I said that I understand, but I can’t & don’t want to wait that long for counter service. I asked him to please cancel my order, which he was unable to do.
He called his manager multiple times, walked outside to discuss with them, and did everything to try to get someone to help. At 7 PM, approximately 40 minutes past when my order was supposed to be ready, they were still unable to issue a refund. They now wanted me to hand over my credit card, so they could read the numbers aloud to whoever they had on their cell phone. That does not seem reasonable or safe in 2025. They have all my information in their computer system.
I have never been at a more unprofessional, unorganized, understaffed, and utterly incompetent restaurant in my life. How do you have a counter service restaurant with no food and no manager or team lead on staff? The guy working was pleasant, but had no ability to actually assist outside of making food.

Read moreThis moes and the one one on niagara falls blvd in NF must be owned by the same guy because they both cut their chicken so small that one scoop barely gets you anything. And it's definitely the owners because the other moes don't cut their chicken as small. Infact i was there 2 weeks ago where the owner was present and they didn't have change to give to a customer who was owed 67 cents. 67 f'ng cents!!! Momhammed, the owner whose name i wouldn't have known if the employee didn't tell me, told the cusotmer "idk what to tell you". The customer ended up eating the difference even though they were the ones who were owed money. Today the supervisor told me that they gave me 15 chips because they had to make sure the remaining chips last until closing. I was there at 4:45 and they close at 11. I even ordered a cup of queso and he still didn't want to give me more chips. Do yourself a favor and just go to the amherst location, not only is the service better but they don't make you feel guilty for asking for chips. Chips and salsa are supposed to be on them. Read moreOn a weekday just after noon hours nobody in the restaurant and the only girl in the kitchen did not hear us after calling out Hello/Excuse Me. The she was totally uninterested in serving us. The rice and veggies were completely dried out and she was scraping the container to put them on our burritos and bowls. I had to ask her to please get a fresh batch. She wasn’t pleased that we told her the same for grilled veggies as well. The veggies were just not enough for four and they were completely dried out. Then she added any salsa’s - none in the burritos, bowl and quesadilla. She asked us to take it from the counter meant for chips!
None of the burritos tasted any good. The only vegan/vegetarian protein option Adobo Tofu had no flavour. It just felt as if there was no seasonings or spices added to it.
Close to $60 for the for the four of us. Totally not worth it. Save your business for someone who really wants your business and cares for the food served. So...
