Where do I even start?
The beer and arcade must be the only things worthy of this, so called, “establishment”. Those are the only things that made me come back two more times (specially the beer).
For the longest time I thought pizza was the only food that couldn’t be messed up, until I had the misfortune of eating your pizza. CiCi's pizza is way better…
Also, you guys must be fans of the Disney Movie Ratatouille and its core message: everybody can cook. Well, I hate to break it to you, but your kitchen staff cannot, and should not, cook. They disregard every hygiene and health regulations. For example, they seem (i) unfamiliar with the use of hair nets, and (ii) not to follow a proper dresscode (long pants, closed-toe shoes, among others).
And talking about health hazards, your restrooms are NASTY. I thought I was at a godforsaken gas station’s restroom. Do you guys even know cleaning should be done daily? Specially if you cook (or try to) and sell food. How is it possible that every time I’ve been there, the stains remain the same? Astonishing.
I really hope you guys take into consideration my review, because I see a lot of potential. Just try not to mess up the good things (for example, your bartender has no beer knowledge, which seems a little off, given you sell different styles of draft beer. Maybe some beer training?); and try to fix all the bad things.
Nobody likes a bad review, but look at the sunny side: it’s better having somebody tell you what’s wrong, rather than having somebody tell you what you want to hear.
At the end of the day, I want your...
Read moreI was super excited to try this place out for the first time! Unfortunately, I did not have a good experience at all and don't plan on returning anytime soon. While the food was pretty good, the service was not and they definitely need a better ventilation system. We were sat in the corner next to the oven and couldn't take the smokiness of it so we asked to get out pizza to go instead when our appetizer was brought out. Although it took a while, waiting was not the issue. There was a lady checking on people and I asked for a refill while I waited and she asked if we were waiting on food. I said yes but we had changed it to go. She made the comment, "well getting it to go isn't going to make it go any faster". This comment was unnecessary and made the entire experience so much worse. The only reason we asked to l for it to go was because our eyes were burning and it was uncomfortable we just wanted to get out of there. While we were going to come back another day in case they were just having issues, I will not be returning here. The pizza was good but I recommend getting it to go if you're going to get it. You can see what I mean in the first picture.
*In response to Soul Fire, my plan was to give this place another chance and not leave a review at all unless I went back. That was until the comment was made that my pizza wasn't going to come faster if it was to go. When I told you why we were taking it to go you walked away and didn't say anything. As I said it was not my expectation to get my...
Read moreDecided to come in after a friend told me to check it out and I had to ship some things out next door. When I came in all the staff was standing around the oven counter. One of them told me to sit where ever I wanted. First impressions- the floor could use a good sweeping and moping there was a lot of food under the tables. Some of the tables needed wiped down. I sat down at one that looked clean shortly after that a server brought me a menu and ask if I had been there before. I told him that it was my first time in, he then ask about drinks and if I knew what I wanted (hadn’t even looked at the menu yet). I ordered the meat ball appetizer and he walked away. Didn’t return in till he brought the appetizer and water over . I then ordered the 10 inch meat lovers pizza. He went back to talking with the rest of the staff didn’t return in till he brought my pizza over. There was no parmesan cheese, chili flakes, or salt and pepper on any of the tables had to ask for them. The meat balls were hot and had good flavor, the marinara sauce how ever tasted like Canned puréed tomatoes with no seasoning the toppings on the pizza where very minimal and bland. The pizza crust was the best part of the meal but it could have benefited from some garlic butter. The saving grace was that it wasn’t horribly expensive. In conclusion I might try soulfire again in the future to see if maybe I just got them on...
