Dimmock Square — Local services in Colonial Heights

There is several stores here. The most notable are Target, Shoe Carnival, Best Buy and Old Navy. There is also a Peir 1 but they are going out of business. Across the parking lot is a mattress store, Jackson Hewitt, Gamestop, and a Five Guys. Within the area there is also a Wal-Mart, Sam's Club, Michael's, Once Upon a Child, Pet Smart, Taco Bell, Wendy's Zzamm, and several other places. This shopping center is always the cleanest though. The parking lot is set up a little weird but it is not hard to navigate. There is always a good amount of parking. I have only seen panhandlers there one time and it was a family. (This was very recent) I like that part of the shopping center has a covered side walk so you can walk to the other stores instead of having to move yuiur car constantly. Shoe Carnival, Best Buy, and Old Navy are all beside each other so there is something for everyone in my family to shop at if they do not want to go in...

Won't be returning here. The selection for boys' shoes is horrible. There just isn't enough as well as variation in sizing. We could only find 4 pairs of shoes in my son's size (7), and he ended up just getting a pair of heelys. The staff doesn't really care, and this isn't the first time I've complained about it, and they don't really like to check for anything to make sure they don't have extra we don't come to the store just to have something ordered. If we wanted it ordered, we would just get it online in the first place. Shoe carnival used to be so good. Now, they are just an overpriced joke, and they won't be returning. You're better off driving 3/4 mins down the road to the massive shoe store in the mall they have better prices and selection,...

The people there is very helpful and friendly. They can tell you all about the product that you are looking to buy. If you don't know a lot about electronics that is a good place to buy your stuff from. The prices are not to bad either. They have what you call a Geek Squad people that can come and put your TV 📺 DVD 📀 and other stuff together for you , for a price but it is put up the right way.
