I had a meeting this afternoon and dropped my daughter off at this place after seeing reviews that this was āThe best bubble tea in Coloradoā. Unfortunately, having the best bubble tea in Colorado isnāt going to bring back customers who are made to feel unwelcome here! The gentleman behind the counter was not welcoming and when my daughter asked for assistance with the WiFi because the password wasnāt working on her tech device, she was met with an abrupt, cold and rude response from him. He made my daughter who had already received her $5 bubble tea very uncomfortable. There were no other customers in this business at the time so he wasnāt busy. He made the atmosphere feel so uncomfortable and unwelcoming that she drank her bubble tea as fast as she could, not enjoying what she has been looking forward to and left. She went one block up to Starbucks and messaged me once she arrived there. The staff at Starbucks was welcoming and cheerful and she was thankful to have a place close to where she had decided to wait that was inviting and out of the icy cold weather. The Coffee and Tea Zone has acceptable bubble tea, although lacking in a full offering of flavors as well as less than acceptable customer service practices. Go to a place where they want your business and will welcome you with a smile and not leave you wanting to run for shelter some where else. This is NOT the best bubble tea in...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreSlightly above mediocre thai boba tea, fair prices, and the workers were friendly, which is the only reason for 3 stars versus 1. Worth going to if its a quick in and out and you need a drink. I was happily surprised that it wasn't awful. Decor was old, and the place was filthy. It felt like a 1990s Super 8 that had never been remodeled and recently tried to become "Non-Smoking" and tried to cover up all the decades of smells and dirt. Even with a tight budget, giving the walls some new paint would be a bonus. Slim down your menu to save capital and focus on a few things you do well, which would save space for storage and be easier to onboard new employees. Get rid of the old furniture and substitute with a few slightly updated plastic or laminate pieces that dont hold in smells, you dont need that much seating anyway, youve got outdoor space until winter. I won't even get into the bathrooms. Laughably dirty, I thought I had stumbled into a janitors closet. Lots of room for improvement. Small changes bring in customers and make...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreFormer employee here, if you want to support a roach infested business that violates health codes and labor laws this is a great place to visit. Owner is extremely rude and only hires teenagers so he can control them and mistreat them and get away with it. Itās very interesting he told me heās gotten 3 bad reviews about my customer service when every bad review mentions something about him, no one else. The inside of the kitchen is filthy and if the owner is working he re-uses left over smoothies as liquid for other drinks, and he lets them sit out of the fridge and build bacteria. Not to mention, 15 minute breaks arenāt given to employees on 6 hour shifts. He also tells us to lie if health inspectors ever show up. He also canāt take no for an answer and repeatedly tried to make me move to the location across town, which iām not doing for 13.65 TIPPED an hour. He picks favorites and always treated me the worst out of any employee. If you value your insides, get boba from literally any other...
