Great apologetic partners with empathy for their customers. However, due to them being overwhelmed I waited 20+ minutes for a Grande coffee with crème. Now usually I order a plain latte or mocha, however I didn’t have time. To top it off, after my name was called and coffee was set in the waiting area, I watch a customer literally pick it up and take it. (We had the same name, but his drink was different then mine).
Starbucks Corp. it is your obligations to make sure the volume of your stores are able to be serviced. This is not a management nor Barista level situation.
Coffee is now in drink rotation? Horrible choice of a decision. This needs to be changed back to the barista who initially takes the order. This will also solve problem number (3) in my situation.
Your store was literally so busy the manager closed the cafe for business until they could get caught up. Wise choice, I would have done something very similar. However, the handoff, personal connection, and accuracy is extremely important. Had my coffee been “Handel to me with my name called, eye contact, exit greeting…this would have all been avoided.
These poor baristas and managers work like dogs while your CEO asks for raises that are an extreme excess to our economy and what Starbucks promotes as equality and justified value in their employees. Yes employees, they aren’t partners when they are left to deal with this kind of stress with horrible tools, budgets, and pay.
Bring back Howard Schultz, greed has literally ruined this organization as well as the lack and ability to adapt to the culture of its success. Your going to have to find a strategy that actually works with the volume and constant change in traffic. Why? It’s the...
Read moreI came in to pick up an uber eats order for a customer and I had my daughter with me which is 7. She asked for an ice water. The girl told her Absol-…. And stopped in midst of the absolutely and said I’m sorry, you can purchase a bottled water. Our new policy states that if you’re not making a purchase then you can’t get free ice water. Thinking back, I wasn’t even offered simply to purchase the ice water but a bottled water!!! I had already came to Starbucks earlier that morning about 6 am as I do every morning and for the past 20 plus years! Everyone knows my face and name and my drink that I order every day! So, to be told no for an ice water for my daughter while also picking up an order for them to deliver was like wooaaahhh! I also deliver Instacart orders for their milk, creamers etc TO Starbucks and they always have me stock the fridge. Ya know what, this is not protocol. I am not supposed to stock a fridge, but I do. Sometimes you just go the extra mile for people that you feel are home base. That will no longer be a thing! If any child were to ask me for an iced water, I wouldn’t care whether I’m working, walking, or at home, I’d give them one! So, for me to do business and spend my good estimated give or take $6,000 a year X 20 years with a company who doesn’t quite share those values, I’m good. She was sick and her allergies were acting up, she needed some water smh. I called back and addressed this with the manager and was advised of this new policy. I also advised about my child not feeling well and wanting the water and she advised if I would’ve just told her that then she would e gave us one. That was even more of an insult because why should a person have to explain something to get a cup...
Read moreI just got back home from this location after using my 15 minute break to stop here on one of the rare occasions I ever go to Starbucks. I wanted to treat myself, my mom, and my brother to breakfast so I ordered two drinks and five food items, two of which I stated didn’t need to be warmed. The girl that was taking my order was very abrupt from the start of my order when I was clarifying a food item cause I couldn’t see it very well on the menu from where I was ordering. Then she started being extremely rude when I ordered the third food item. After I asked for the item she scoffed and said oh my god under her breath. At the end of my order she stated not nicely, “Since you ordered a lot of food items if it’s not ready at the window we’ll need you to pull forward”. Mind you with emphasis on A LOT. This girl should not be in fast food or customer service much less taking orders. I worked in fast food for over 3 years in front of a busy mall and would have never dreamed of voicing my annoyance or frustration to a customer with a big order. My order wasn’t even big but I wouldn’t have minded pulling forward regardless. What wasn’t necessary was the attitude and rude comments I received. The guy at the window was nice and my order was fine except that the iced PSL had a pool of syrup at the bottom of it like it hadn’t been mixed up properly. I hope this location improves their staff because it has seriously gone down hill in their customer service and I have been coming here for over 10 years since I started driving in high school. I’ll be taking my business to the Highland Creek or Afton Ridge Starbucks...
