TacoLingo Tex-Mex — Restaurant in Dallas

Unfair Treatment !!!!!!! As soon as I walked in we stood with no acknowledgment from the staff for 5 minutes. When a manager gabby comes over she states that their busy, to which i reply “too busy to be greeted by someone that we have to stand here 5 minutes”, she said yes we have other people, I reply we’re just as important as other customers…she said well we’re busy so thats how it goes you don’t have to stay. I reply oh you don’t want my business because that’s not kind or respectful to say.. so how much longer do we have to wait (they only have 8 tables seated) She turns around and speaks to the other manager and then walks away. The other manager Gabriel says well I don’t think you should stay as I don’t believe we can provide good service for you. As I explain to him again we’ve been waiting to be seated.. his reply was well if you’re already having a bad experience I don’t think this is for you. I reply I live upstairs and come here all the time and today I’m being treated this way? ..Two men walk in and say table for 2, and he proceeds to grab menus. I interject you’re going to seat them before us while we’ve been waiting 10 minutes now? .. his response well if you still want to stay, I reply yes we’ve been standing here with no apology and no solution. Finally he says okay we will get you seated and try to provide the best service. I reply thank you. This simply all could’ve been avoided by them apologizing the first interaction and seating us right away. Very disappointing to have received this poor service and treatment today especially when I live upstairs and come...

My fiancees work Christmas party was here last night and the atmosphere from the beginning felt a blend of modern meets industrial age. we were on the patio and part of the decor was a freight container, which I thought was pretty cool. the expose fire sprinkler system gives you the feel of historic Dallas during the 50s.

The rest rooms are unisex and very clean. each rest room had a lit candle to laminate each room.

The wait staff were cordial and attentive to our needs. I never had some one fill my drink without me asking. In that the waitress was very kind and impressively accurate with all orders.

Now I got the pleasantries out of the way I have to give the cons to dining here.

We had Fajitas, beef and chicken, in which, the beef was not easy to eat. the beef was too marbles ( too much fat) the cut was against the grain so when you eat it, you eat the who cut in your mouth. not attractive on a date. Although I strongly recommend the chicken which is top notch. The meat was marinated perfect just need to trim the fat and cut it correctly.

Last is how loud it is. It is almost all medal so any sounds will echo. it was hard to listen to her boss and I was two seats away. So if you are having a meeting this place might not be the one for you.

Like I said earlier the place is awesome and I did not sample the other menu items and it could just be too fatty of a cut to trim. I just don't like to pay for food that i have to look like the animal while chewing on it.

sorry for being blunt. I am an honest reviewer. i may go there another time and if better i will eat...

It’s 9:45 on 5/25/25 and I just left this horrible place. I sat at the bar and asked the waiter if he could make me a specialty drink with no liquor as I am pregnant and he looked me like I was crazy and said but they have lemonade. I took a strawberry lemonade. Anyway…. I order queso and nachos. I ate my queso and was looking around at how everybody who sat at the bar AFTER me had gotten their food. I look over and see a plate sitting at the pick up station and not ONE, not TWO but THREE different people reached OVER that plate! The server pulled the plate close to him and was literally talking over the plate to the cook🥴🤢 So I told the bartender “hey idk if that’s my nacho plate or not but I don’t want it. Everyone is reaching over it, I’ll just pay for my lemonade and queso”. He says “ well that’s not your plate but I’ll just give you your receipt since you wanna act like that”…….. HUH????? So he walked away as I was trying to explain to him that it doesn’t matter if it’s my plate or not, I saw it and I don’t want anything else from behind the kitchen….as he comes back toward my way I asked him where the manager was and he completely ignored me, walked over to the assumed manager and told him whatever he told him and GUESS WHAT?? The manager shook his head and didn’t even come and acknowledge me. This is the second time I’ve had bad customer service at this company. I live right up stairs and will order Mexican food elsewhere before I ever go to this place again.

NO need to ask me to email you guys. He was awful to me....
