We have ordered from Great Wall Chinese Restaurant for years and were very pleased with them. Tonight, 01/14/22, we ordered from them. When we received our order, one part of the order was a combo, beef & broccoli. Sadly, the order was ALL broccoli with NO BEEF! We reached out to the Restaurant to advise they had not served us any beef and requested they bring us beef. The person (John) was exceptionally rude, belligerent, and basically accused me of lying. This surprised me considering we had been using them for years and never had any complaints before. Then, when he brought the replacement, he insisted upon viewing the old order before he would give me a new one. I went and got it for him and showed him there was NO BEEF. I live on the 4th floor so had to go up 4 flights of stairs and back to get the old order for him. I questioned him as to why he didn't ask me to bring it down when he arrived instead of waiting until I got down to the first floor. He then accused me of picking out the beef. I was shocked! I told him I used Great Wall for years and nothing like this had occurred and the fact he was questioning my integrity was unbelievable. I did not ask him to replace our entire order for two people, just the beef and broccoli combo order that only had broccoli NO BEEF! The fact, as a "Customer" that had been with them for years and never complained before and John was so rude and belligerent towards me for their poor service and failure to complete an order correctly. John expected me to be satisfied with their failure and then belittled me for complaining and asking them to correct it.
My recommendation - DO NOT USE THIS RESTAURANT! Because, if they mess your order up, they will turn on you, be nasty, and belittle you as a customer. Personally, I want to be treated like a "Paying Customer" for good service, quality food, and the order filled correctly.

As soon as i came in there was surprisingly no one at the front avsilable to take my order. I completely understand that this establishment and gets really busy around dinner time so when you are on the phone and get off the phone and still don't take my order after I've been waiting for 20 minutes, then there's an issue. Not trying to complain but I am I guess this is happened almost every time I come in.
After I ordered I then proceeded to wait another hour for my food.
How to add insult to injury, I didn't get my food but the people who ordered after me, (mind you, THREE SEPARATE PARTIES ordered after me) all of the customers got their food before I did. It's not like I was invisible to them at the front I was sitting in the front of the store..
I asked to dine in and for the general chicken combo meal with white rice and an egg roll. They made the food to go after I asked to dine in and it was orange chicken and fried rice ( which is not the right order) and the eggroll never showed up.
With all that being said I hate writing reviews that are less than good natured or where thanks weren't due, but the Great Wall made me feel considerably less than equal in comparison to the other customers. And where i understand they are busy as hell, i felt like they for the third time have blatantly showed that they certainly wished i was behind the great wall.... Well, a dislike for me that to my knowledge goes unwarranted😑🙁
sidenote: the orange chicken was fantastic. I love the food here but i don't think the people making it enjoy me all that much. Praying that lt's just that time...
Read moreI actually like the food. It's pretty good and I recommend them to everyone that orders Chinese food, but, today, they put a bad taste in my mouth. I ordered food from them while at work and I ordered the sweet and sour combo. When I looked at it, the food was sooo overcooked and inedible.They put some weird pieces of shrimp and pork in there that I would not even take a bite of. It was rock hard and the pork was mostly black. It looked so old like they refried it after it sat for a while. I called them when I got off of work to let them know the issue and I am always nice to them because I enjoy their food. The guy answered the phone telling me I should have called them right away (mind you, I was at work when I ordered) instead of waiting a few hours to call them and I better not do that next time. He constantly tried to talk over me literally telling me how soon I should eat my food, when it was delivered to me, and then hung up on me. He kept yelling and telling me that the food gets old within an hour because it's fried (it always take me two to three days to finish their food, so that was bull). Then another lady calls back saying I better not order it again since I don't like it and she will give me something else but she wants what I ordered back and continued to tell me what I should order in the future instead of ordering something I don't like. She then hung up on me as well. I gladly gave it back to them when the driver arrived. The fact that they gave me something else is the only reason for the 3rd star. The entire experience was rude and disrespectful and makes me question if I would order...
