Okay, so I came to this restaurant to have brunch with my family our last day in Colorado. We were a table of 6, seated right away; I was happy they were able to accommodate us so quickly. We were quickly brought waters by someone other than our waitress. It took some time for our actual waitress to arrive to our table. No big deal, our actual drinks took some time to come out as well, again nothing to make a stink of. The food quality was amazing, no complaints there at all. Everything each one of my family members ordered was very delicious. I ordered the”Biscuits and gravy with two eggs and choice of meat” notice I wrote out the entire title of my order exactly as it states on their menu. When I received my food, the bacon I ordered as my choice of meat was missing. My Mother ordered the Sicilian frittata which came with either a side of toast or English muffin. Her toast was missing. I had to get up in the middle of my meal to ask our waitress where these two missing items were. She went back to the kitchen and brought them out. At this point we were already pretty much finished eating. We finally get our checks and to my surprise, I was charged for a side of bacon. When I brought it to the attention of our server, she claimed that my meal did not come with a choice of meat. She then proceeded to say that it was because I ordered hash browns instead of potatoes as to why I was charged extra. It was obvious she did not know her way around the menu because it so clearly stated it came with either hash browns or potatoes in the description and a choice of meat in the title! She even went as far as to get the menu and point to what I ordered stating it did not come with meat and I had to waste time and energy correcting her. I asked to speak to a manager because I was so tired of her arguing I really couldn’t understand why she couldn’t just say, my apologies, let me bring this to the attention of my manager so we can get you taken care of. I could go on as to how other waitresses began to chime in behind the assistant manager stating “no this meal does not come with a choice of meat” and how I could not believe I was actually having to teach them what is on their menu. But I digress, I highly recommend the food here if you don’t care about quality customer service. Manager did take off the side of bacon and comp my meal; be that as it may, still did not take away from the frustration of the poor quality service. Pictures are of the Denver burger and the Croissant chicken sandwich my husband and...

One aspect that deserves special mention is the coffee. The brew was just right, striking a perfect balance in strength and flavor that made it an absolute treat to sip. This robust and aromatic coffee turned out to be the perfect companion to our breakfast spread, enhancing the overall dining experience.
The ambiance of the restaurant was also noteworthy. It appeared that the establishment had recently undergone a renovation, creating a homey atmosphere that was both comforting and inviting. We were particularly taken by the tasteful decor, which seemed to tell a story about Denver and the local culture. It was clear that thought had been put into the smallest of details, which contributed to a wonderful dining experience.
However, it is important to note that reaching The Delectable Egg does require a bit of effort. There isn't any immediate parking available in front of the restaurant. Instead, one must find a spot on the streets of downtown Denver or in a nearby parking garage. But, let this not be a deterrent. The walk to the restaurant, immersed in the vibrant energy of the city, was quite enjoyable and added to the charm of the visit. The restaurant itself is nestled in a quieter corner of the city, making it a serene spot away from the clamor of rush hour.
In summary, The Delectable Egg delivers a remarkable breakfast experience that serves as a delightful introduction to Denver's culinary scene. This is a place you wouldn't want to miss when in the city. I hope this review aids you in your visit. Should you have any further inquiries, please feel free to leave them in the comments.
