The coffee was fine, and decently priced, however, as someone that works in the service industry myself, I was extremely disappointed in the lack of warmth, friendliness, customer service and attentiveness from the staff. Upon walking in, both employees looked at me and my friend, didn't say hello, smile, or even maintain eye contact (or even continue looking in our direction for that matter, we may have not even existed) as we approached to order. Both employees looked as though they had better things to be doing, and then it took me to say hello to them to get them to look at me again and listen to my order. Additionally, there is no wifi available at this coffee shop, and when I inquired about it, I was given attitude as if I was insane to think they would have it. I doubt I will ever be back, and I know I won't go out of my way to recommend any friends go there; there's plenty of local coffee shops I would rather spend my money at with as good if not better coffee and wifi; and plenty of coffee shops I've been to where they actually appreciate my business. While getting ready to write this review, I decided to read other reviews to see if I had an isolated experience, and to determine whether it was even worth writing this, but upon seeing multiple reviews similar to this one, I feel l should let the managers/owners know how bad it was so they might be able to hire better employees or train them better in the ways of the service industry before their...

I cannot believe this place has any reviews less than 5 stars. I come here at the very least, once a week between Monday and Thursday. Mid coffee? Lies. It is consistently great and dialed in perfectly. Espresso tastes burnt?? Never been my experience. Closed often and early? Lies. Just because a place closes at 2 doesn’t mean it closed “early”. I come here between 12 pm and 2 pm and have never found it to be closed earlier than its closing time. Unfriendly staff? I’ve come here at 1:50 pm EXPECTING them to be mean to me (I would be mean to me) and they’re very nice. No WiFi? This is a small coffee shop. If they had wifi - people would take up their limited seating for hours. Thump up the street is much larger with wifi because they have the room for that clientele. How would you feel if you wanted to sit and enjoy your coffee and read a book but every table was taken by a laptop? Different coffee shops serve different needs. Knocking a small business over this is unfair. I come here with my 2 dogs 99% of the time and they stay outside every time. Again, unfair to knock a business over this. Especially because retail food regulations prohibit non-service animals to enter indoor areas. How is any business getting negative reviews for something they HAVE to abide by?

Anyway - I love Pablo’s. Coffee is consistently good no matter which barista is making it. Which, if you ask me, is the most...

This coffee shop has a great ambiance, but the rudest staff I have ever had the misfortune of coming into contact with, at any coffee shop or food/beverage establishment EVER. I have come here multiple times and the staff here is constantly incredibly RUDE. Not once, not twice, but every. single. time. The tan / dark haired girl who works the register expects a tip at the front but is the most dry, flat barista I've ever met. No smiles, rude, doesn't start conversation with you or even attempt to look at you. Even the way she takes your order is rude. I understand being tired in the mornings and even hating your job, but at a coffee shop? And every single day...seriously? The tall white male barista is also incredibly rude. Don't expect any smiles when you walk into this place. They don't allow dogs (are incredibly rude about this policy and make it VERY clear, even with service dogs). There's no wi-fi. And the coffee tastes burnt, always. I only have come here out of necessity in the past but I will not be returning. Do better Pablo's Coffee on Penn. A better manager or friendlier staff at the bare minimum would make this place so much more pleasant to spend my hard-earned money at. I never leave Google reviews but this place...

I have been in this sweet coffee place several times; the coffee is so exceptional, that I even have beans at my house. I’ve been in when Davey and January are working and managing to serve seemingly ridiculous lines of people, and running the place professionally and with friendliness, they are kind and patient. They also make really great coffees! My favorite is an almond milk or oat milk latte with almond and cinnamon syrup, splash of each. It’s delicious. I’ve never had to wait more than a few minutes and it is worth the wait. They have good pastries and food here as well. I love the atmosphere, and the plants and the artwork in this funky beautiful old building. Everything is clean and you see people really enjoying themselves sitting at the random chairs and tables or outside.

Really enjoyed this coffee shop! Pablo's Coffee has cool "River Eddy" feel despite being on such a busy street, a mellow atmosphere. I enjoyed my almond milk latte very much as well as a delightful slice of pumpkin bread. Saw people using the space for various reasons, studying, laptop work, catching up with folks as well as just hanging out. All around a cool cafe! The outdoor seating is just pick-nick tables and is partially fenced in. They do have a small parking lot and there is street parking. Since its so close to downtown parking can be a shot in the dark but hey this place could be worth your while. Cheers.

One of the best coffee places in Denver! This local coffee shop serves fresh whole beans beverages with high quality. I usually go for their latte. Have been their customer for a few years now. They have a great loyalty program, very nice customer service, warm and inviting atmosphere. Great place for small social gatherings and good conversations.
