Teocalli Cocina Lo Hi — Restaurant in Denver

We have been wanting to try Teocalli for a long time, so glad we finally were able to today. Tyler was our server, and he was excellent in every way. We were feeling a little indecisive, and he was so helpful. He recommended some amazing items for us and mixed up some creative drinks. It was like having a personal foodie attend to us. The Ceviche was by far my favorite item, I could have eaten that all day long, and I would have been happy. They should offer it in a taco form too. The X-Ni-Pek salsa was 👌, loved the pineapple in it. Wish they had an el pastor taco ❤️ maybe one day. My husband's favorite was probably the chicken taco with a side of cojita (sounds plain, but he said the flavors were all on point) He also tried the GF churros, which Teocalli is known for, and they did not disappoint! (I wish I could have tried them too, but I can't have dairy right now). Speaking of dairy, they did have many DF options to choose from, although no DF desserts (which is common anyway). Simply Wonderful Experience. My 2nd Time In 1 Week. Brought My Son and Daughter Tonight And They 100% Enjoyed Every Single Dish That We Ordered. Starting With The Delicious Mango-Habanero Ceviche And The Chips And Salsas ( Salsas That You Won't Find Anywhere Else). The Green Pozole Was So Delicious, As Well As The Variety Of Tacos That We Ordered. My Carne Asada Was Cooked To Perfection And Tasted So Good. The Adobo Tuna Served With Crema De Elote So Tasty Also. We Finished Our Meal With The Mexican Chocolate Panna Cotta, Which It Was Also Very Delicious. Very Professional Service All The Way From The Hostess, Server, Server Assistant And Specially From "CHEF LUIS". Who Was Very Attentive And He Made Sure That We Were Happy And Having An Exceptional Dining Experience. Which We Did. Definitely Thumbs Up To Chef Luis And His Staff. They Deserve More Than 5 Stars. I have never and will most likely never write a review again unless I feel compelled too again but this was quite the delight. I am visiting Denver and this restaurant was one of many that we looked into dining at. When we arrived, the service was immediate and attentive with our last minute request.

Our server Lindsay was extremely wonderful. She was attentive and friendly and informative when it came to their daughter location: Dearly departed. Anytime we needed something, she was there. This should come as a commonality when it comes to service and Lindsay did not disappoint.

She is the reason we are coming back to go to their daughter restaurant and will continue to recommend this location and her to others when they visit Denver.
