Read moreSo having been to PBR bars in various cities and knowing this is not my type of scene, I of course against my better judgement, went to this one in Orlando, because one of my brothers wanted to grab a few drinks while we are already in that area. And boy, did they not disappoint... I get the whole take advantage of tourist concept, it's a business practice, though you may not like it, it is still a solid business plan. Yet, not all those who are not from your area are Tourist. Some are travelers.... Well, my brother gets offered a booth, server it seems tells him the booth cost buying a bottle, so ok, we do this, we do this frequently actually. So yeah, $500 booth/bottle let's go! well.... after about an hr maybe, the young lady says we need to get up or pay another $500... mind you, I've yet too see a bottle... just a bucket of Coors light cans, 6 of em, that was refilled once ; so 12 all together. We mention the bottle to looks of confusion and to just give us more money or go stand up somewhere lol. We close that tab out at almost $800 meaning we apparently paid for the Coors light as well and $500 to just have a seat, which is fine if you didn't sell it based upon a bottle as well. Just shady business practices clearly designed to capture the tourist whom may have had a lil too much to drink. If PBR bars are your thing, I get it, nothing wrong with that, I'd highly recommend not indulging in the one in Orlando Florida. y'all take care . by the way, we still tipped, because maybe the server herself is just doing what she is told and we are proper southern...
Read moreGuys trip weekend started off at PBR on a Friday night in Orlando! After driving over 9hrs to get to Orlando from NC (clearly we had to stop at every Buc-ees and at least a few Harley Davidson’s) we arrived ready to have a good time. After getting settled and hitting the pool for a while, we made our way to PBR for the night. It wasn’t really packed so we strolled through the bar and ended up sitting at a booth. As the night went on we had a bucket of beer sent to the table (and I believe it was refilled once.) As the place started to fill up a waitress came and told me there was a minimum and we had to buy a bottle to sit there…long story short, we stayed sitting at the table. I thought she was just letting us stay there since it wasn’t busy at all, but apparently my buddy ended getting charged over $800 for the booth…no bottle, just hard to come by, poor service from the waitress. Def misleading interaction and overcharged by the bar. Maybe that’s why they were so dead that night 🤷♂️. Shitty service leads to terrible business…if it wasn’t for the PBR name, I’m sure that bar would be closed down. You’re working in an establishment where ppl come (on vacation) to relax and let loose. If you’re going to take advantage of every drunk guy at the bar because somebody stepped on your shoe, you should probably find another job! Do better PBR...
