Was very disappointed with our meal last night. Met friends that were in from New Jersey The dinner started off fine. It went downhill from the beginning. We ordered drinks and appetizers and we were done our appetizers before I received my espresso martini which I had flag down the waitress to ask where it was, she said oh yes I'll go get it. We then were placing our dinner order when I got my lobster and my husband ordered the salmon Oscar and I told the waitress I was torn between the chicken and salmon dinner and I use that term loosely because nothing's included, everything there is a la carte and I haven't been to a Capital grille in 10 years in Baltimore and it was very nice. But the waitress said oh I would go with the salmon and then said, would you like lobster on top like your husband's going to have the crab meat? And I said okay let's try that. When I got my bill I found out that lobster was $85. My husband and I are retired and on fixed incomes but we had a decent amount planned for dinner to enjoy our friends. I also ordered truffle fries and mushrooms out of the share the table sides menu for everyone to share, and we were almost through the dinner before I again had to remind the waitress that I never got my truffle fries and again she said oh I'll go get them. Waited over five more minutes before we got them. My salmon was bland so I brought some of it home for my husband. When he tasted mine today he said boy that really is bland, his wasn't. And the waitress's assistant came to the table to make sure we were doing okay. Very nice young lady. So then the waitress came and asked If I wanted another martini and I thought no way I'm waiting that long but she never offered me any other option then she asked if we wanted to see a dessert menu and my friend did. I just got a cappuccino and she ordered the creme brulee without being told it was served with fruit on top and she's very allergic to berries. So 20 minutes later we again reminded her that she never got the creme brulee and the assistant went and got it and when she saw the berries on top asked to send it back and get just a plain one so the assistant brought us a platter while we were waiting with two little desserts on it as a reparation for everything taking so long, but none of us really wanted them. And the flourless choc cake that my friend's boyfriend tasted said it was tasteless. We were still waiting for the creme brulee to come back without fruit and my friend wanted to get up and leave because she said they're probably just going to dump the fruit off and she is very allergic to berries but it came back and she took one little bite and said nah. I just don't want it so her boyfriend ate some more of it. But by this time we were very disappointed and the waitress only asked once well, how is everything? And didn't even wait for the answer. I had to raise my hand to get her attention two times to ask her where my items were. Final result my bill came to $337. I was flabbergasted. My friends had ordered a bottle of wine with soup, steak and chilean sea bass and their bill only came to $279 and the wine was $70 some dollars. And I get gift cards every year for my brother for capital grill up in King of Prussia Pennsylvania. But I'll tell you, my husband and I will never go back there to the one on International drive in Orlando near The Pointe. I even wrote on the receipt forgot too many items just to let the powers that be know what was going on and we were taken all the way to the back into a corner so I guess we weren't wearing the proper attire or they just wanted to put us furthest away from the entrance and keep all the younger parties in the front. Growing up my parents took my brother's and I to very nice restaurants. My father was a home builder in the DelMarVa peninsula area so I know nice restaurants and I was a sous chef for 2 years in a seafood restaurant. This was very...

We were warmly welcomed and immediately taken care of by Marissa at the bar, whose friendly demeanor and expert service truly sets the tone for the evening. Her bartending skills are top-notch, she was not only incredibly attentive and efficient, but also impressively knowledgeable about the drink menu. She made excellent recommendations that complemented our meal perfectly, and her attention to detail in crafting each cocktail was clear. What stood out even more was her ability to balance expert service with genuine, engaging conversation. She managed the bar with ease, always checking in at just the right times, all while creating a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. Marissa is a true professional, and her presence behind the bar made our night unforgettable. Highly recommend sitting at the bar if she's working you’ll be in excellent hands.
Kyle S. the manager and Sommelier actively checked in with us through out the meal and his genuine hospitality was evident a true reflection of the high standards this location upholds. the level of service at this location was outstanding, much of which can be credited to Kyle S., the manager and sommelier. Kyle checked in with us regularly throughout the meal, ensuring every detail was perfect. His genuine hospitality and warm demeanor made us feel truly valued as guests. What stood out even more was the way Kyle interacted with his team. He was consistently supportive, respectful, and engaged, setting a tone of professionalism and teamwork that clearly influences the entire staff. We indulged in the dry-aged porterhouse steak, which was nothing short of extraordinary perfectly cooked and bursting with rich, complex flavor. The tuna tartare was fresh, vibrant, and beautifully presented, and the Nueske's thick-cut bacon was smoky, tender, and utterly addictive. Every side dish we tried was equally impressive, from the creaminess of the au gratin potatoes, to the freshness of the creamed corn with bacon, all crafted with attention to detail.
We had the pleasure of trying three of the dessert options, and each one was an absolute masterpiece. The Flourless Chocolate Espresso Cake was rich, dense, and perfectly balanced with a deep espresso flavor that elevated the chocolate to another level. It’s a must for any chocolate lover. The Capital Grille Cheesecake was heavenly, smooth, creamy, and indulgent without being overly sweet. The brûléed top added the perfect caramelized crunch, and fresh berries make it truly unforgettable. A fun addition to the cheesecake is the crème anglaise which Marissa suggested and she was absolutely right! And finally, the Crème Brûlée was classic done right: silky… and I mean SILKY custard with a beautifully torched sugar crust that cracked just right with every spoonful topped with fresh blackberries, raspberries, blueberries and strawberries. Each dessert was crafted with care and full of flavor refined, yet comforting. This was not just a meal; it was an experience we'll remember, a flawless balance of fine cuisine, top-tier service, and elegant ambiance. We can't wait to return. Cheers to the...
Read moreSo, my best friend is a timeshare owner, and we were treated to a dinner there. You get served a 3 or 4 course meal with all the alcohol you want. I want to say right now, I am a very, very picky eater. Started out with salad with some sort of dressing. I hate dressing on salads, I like them plain. I didn't eat that. There was a center piece dish with different seafood items, I hate seafood and didn't eat that. My friends tried the shrimp and loved it! They wanted more but knew they couldn't because they wouldn't eat anything else. Appetizers came, lobster and crab cakes. Yuck, I didn't have that either. Friends LOVED them. They wanted to have a couple of those. There was bread on the table so I ate some bread which was yummy. The other appetizer was panchetta with mozzarella and tomatoes. Didn't eat that. Friends liked it a lot. Main dish, I ordered chicken breasts, no mushrooms, other friend ordered the same, 1 friend ordered filet mignon, last friend had the bone in steak. Got my chicken, and it had this brown sauce that I recognized, it has vinegar in it. There was a piece or two that didn't have the sauce on it. Tasted good. I tried the chicken that had the sauce on it, and it was gross. My friends LOVED their food. One wanted to have relations with the filet mignon. It was that good. Desserts are next and I didn't eat any of that. There was an expresso chocolate cake, not a fan. There were 2 other Desserts, didn't like. The entire table but me loved the food and wine. Remember I am very picky! The staff was amazing soooo amazing. Pablo took care of all of us. The lady waitress asked Ilif I wanted a to go box, I said no, that she could take it away actually. She said they could bring me something else but I said no. I didn't tell her but i didn't want to cause a fuss, the amount of time it would take them to cook me another dish would be too long and I was afraid I wouldn't like whatever they brought me. My friends kept telling me they can fix me whatever I wanted, I said no. Now a big deal is being made which I didn't want. Then Pedro asked me later if I wanted something else, I said no. I felt horrible, these guys are amazing people. The food was amazing from my friends view. I am picky. You guys need to go there! My friends LOVED the food! Don't let my pickiness sway you. I told you all this because I want you to see how wonderful the staff was, they cared about me and wanted to make sure I was happy. They could have easily picked up my food and went about their business but they wanted me to be happy. Imagine that a restaurant wanting their customers to be happy. You guys need to go there, you will not regret it. Ask questions to make sure you are getting what you want, if it's not right they will make it right....
