Jimmy John's — Restaurant in Estes Park

Horrible. I ordered a turkey and cheese sandwich on wheat roll that came with mayo, lettuce tomato. I received it on whole wheat bread, not the long French bread roll. I took it back to the counter and was informed that "wheat" doesn't come on anything other than bread. Maybe they should tell us??? The sandwich had ONE piece of thin turkey meat, and one thin piece of cheese and was loaded with shredded lettuce and a tomato piece. I also ordered a bag of chips. The total was 13 dollars and some change. My alert on my phone went off to inform me a charge had been made from them in the amount of $38 dollars!!! WHAT????? I immediately got out of my chair and went straight up to the counter again, and busted them. The amount of excuses the checker had for getting caught was deplorable. They immediately refunded my money, and offered more excuses. By this time, I was so angry, and the sandwich was so bad, I threw it in the trash can and left. If there was ever a worse staff or worse service, I'd be hard pressed to find it! I asked for the sandwich to "jimmy it up" and no onion or tomato on half. The guy asked me what does "jimmy it up" mean?! That's their own slogan!! And then was told by the manager that he's new and that they can't technically put onion and tomato on only half. What?? Has the guy never eaten a sandwich there? And how hard is it to leave tomatoes off half a sandwich?! As I waited, for 20 MINUTES, I was told about 12 times that the staff is new and they are the only 2 working. But there were 4 people, 2 literally standing around and staring at things! Then to top it all off, the staring guy stared right at me and deliberately wrapped the sandwich as slowly as he could and told me he was giving me the same respect I gave him!! OH, MY GOOD GRIEF! I just wanted a sandwich, which I did get, but it wasn't "jimmyed up"!...

I had an incredibly disappointing experience here. First, the food took 35 minutes to prepare, which is unacceptable. The customer service was awful throughout. They served regular root beer instead of diet, and when I pointed this out, they insisted I was wrong. After finally checking, they realized I was right, but the issue didn’t end there. They fixed the machine and made me run it again, only for it to still dispense regular root beer. I had to sip it four times to test it, which is a serious concern because I have severe epilepsy and can't have sugar—something I specifically told them. When I asked for a simple bottle of Diet Coke, they refused and told me to keep trying the machine.

To make matters worse, the employees were extremely rude to one another, creating an unpleasant atmosphere. If I could give this place 0/5 stars, I would. Avoid...
