NO STARS GIVEN!!! The experience at this restaurant was not good.I ordered my food 30 minutes before I arrived at the restaurant. When we got there we could see our order was done. The were 2 people ahead of us in line one was a blind lady the cashier kept screaming can I help who's next she had to find her way to the counter by his voice meanwhile there are alot of employees standing around. Not one decided to help this lady with her order super rude. As we are paying the cashier calles out order up for Jessica so we assumed we should get our food right away since we called ahead and can see our order sitting on the counter WRONG! We waited another 10 min watched employee's in the back with no mask on eating and drinking in the front watching videos on there cell phones 3 Uber eats people came in after us and got there food right away. As we are still waiting the lady comes from the back and yells order number 57 I tell my husband that's the blind ladies food he tells the cashier who just rung her up that her food she is sitting at a booth. Then we finally get our food I always check my order before I leave cause 77.00 is alot of money all our fries were soggy the inside of the bag was drenched in water I take it back to the cashier and she looked at me like what's the problem I'm like these fries are soggy and there is a pool of water forming in the bottom of the bag she just takes it and walked away Hella rude. I asked for fresh fries she started whispering to the cashier. I will never eat at this location again. I advise you to spend your hard earned money...
Read moreThis review is based off of the awesome customer service my family received from Ezells’ due to a DD issue. After receiving our delivery we noticed that the order was wrong. Called the dude and he responded to call the restaurant because it was their fault. The receipt order has the name they are delivering to so right off I knew he messed up. So called the restaurant to let them know what happened. They had given two orders to the guy and he switched them up in a rush to deliver. Delauren(How I heard it pronounced through mask) apologized, explained what happened, and offered for us to come in and receive our order. I went in, met her, and was immediately taken care of and offered anything on the house like sides and dessert. I took the dessert, explained to her that DD has no quality control in delivery drivers, and went on my way. Family was satisfied as their food is comfort food and we are patrons of their establishment. This woman’s communication, empathy, and conflict resolution was what most restaurants fail to understand and utilize. I know this review may fall on deaf ears but when someone deserves recognition for something that people take for granted like customer service, I have to give them thanks. Thanks Delauren!

The chicken was extremely mushy and had a weird taste- maybe it was old? My family and I started to feel nauseous after taking a few bites. The fries were very cold and hard. I’m getting sick just thinking about it…..
The workers are also very unsanitary- they were standing around on their phones, no gloves, no hair nets. Just gross.
Let’s not even start with customer service- they are so unprofessional. The shift manager literally told me that she’s aware of the complaints about the chicken being soggy and having a funny taste but there’s nothing she could do. So y’all are just selling old chicken to people? I spoke to her manager which was a man and he was ENTIRELY DISRESPECTFUL. He had no basic mannerisms and/or real comprehension skills. He is in fact very sassy and doesn’t value his customers. This man was unwilling to exchange old and mushy chicken that I spent $50+ on because he said that he would “take a loss”. I was open to other solutions, but he had none.
I always strive to support black businesses, but this situation was very disheartening and I did not feel heard or cared for as a customer.
