Really unusual combination of rolled ice cream - which is absolutely amazing- and poke bowl- also delicious! They have little pieces of paper where you can design your own poke bowl and create what amazing combinatio for the rolled ice cream. You have a lot of choices including toppings and mixins - a great idea! The atmosphere is unusual and very bright fluorescent lights they could have made it a little more coffee house with the tables to the right and the other things to the left as far as the kitchen area. The bathroom is extremely clean and also everything else is in the dining area and ordering area. There is also a drink menu including smoothies and cheese as well as coffees and lattes. The workers work extremely hard is it seems like people come in in bunches at certain times. They're really nice and efficient and my fantastic person and certainly worker made my poke bowl and also the ice cream. The pokeball was the best I've ever had from anywhere - I was really amazed! I'm still finding the rolled ice cream unusual but it tasted fantastic! Definitely a place to take the kids so they can watch when they do the roll ice cream and if you're hungry, they really do have an excellent poke bowl with tons of choices when you can make it as healthy as you possibly want or fill it with rice-lol All the toppings were very generous and the sashimi of the tuna and salmon was extremely fresh and the perfect temperature and the perfect temperature. I’ve gotten bubble tea from here since they opened. Their drinks are always really, really good! Eventually they started serving sushi and then poke bowls. I was always semi afraid to try the food. I got poke at another place anyway, which was my favorite before they closed to expand. On Sunday, I was hungry and figured I’d give it a try. I ordered a poke bowl with double salmon, white rice, and some other toppings. I got home and looked closer at my bowl. It was a complete and total disappointment. It had toppings I didn’t want, was missing toppings I asked for (which doesn’t make sense because you literally circle/highlight what you want on the order slips they have printed to make it easier), and the fish I did eat didn’t taste all that great. I actually messaged them to prevent having to do a review because I really do like their drinks. I told them the problems, sent a photo, and asked if I could get it redone. Whoever was in control of the Facebook replied that I could; however, I wasn’t coming all the way back that night. I asked if I could get it redone any other day this week if possible. No reply. They did, however, seemingly try to justify my rather depressing poke by saying you only get one ounce of protein per asked, which still didn’t make sense with what I got. Oh.. My.. Goodness!! This is the most awesome place! I had gone there several times over the last year and a half for the rolled ice cream. I always had such a great experience. Then I went by several times when I would be in Flowood, but it had been closed. I just figured it had closed down due to the virus. Tonight we were in Flowood and after we went to eat I asked my husband to take me there to see if it was open. We rode by and the lights were out. My husband needed to go on to Academy and I sat in the car. While I was sitting there I decided I would just google and see what had happened. Well, low and behold, it said it was open. When my husband returned to the car if told him and we decided to go back by. The lights just happened to be on. We got out and went to the door. I could see a young man in the back of the store, so I knocked. He made a hand motion that they were closed. When he saw my sad face he came to the door, opened it and explained why they were closed. The power had been out and they were there restocking things and training a new hire. My husband said we had traveled 90 miles and immediately he welcomed us in. He made our ice cream and offered us to sit and take our time. My husband went to pay and he said oh no, driving 90 miles is payment enough!!
