Hunters Beach Bar — Restaurant in Fort Lauderdale

Cool dive bar that's been around for a long time. Service depends on who's bartending and how many drinks they have had. The guy there, whose name i don't know, is always nice and takes care of the customers. Can't say the same about the girls that work at night. Not attentive, they decide when they serve you drinks and if they feel like it. My gf and i were completely ignored a few times. So much so that i had to get 3 drinks at a time when i did get their attention. Been there a few times because we live in one of the high rises around there and it's a convenient walk from the house but would not recommend. Got my phone stolen there as well. Was able to retrieve it from this giant looking dude that i never saw at the bar. Keep your belongings closer to you. You will get robbed there. Blondies across the street is busier but provides WAY better service. This place is hit or miss...owner is a crazy lady that likes to sit outside, get drunk and start judging people 🤷🏻‍♂️ oh yeah i almost forgot. She did call my girlfriend and i cheesy and sleazy just because we're tastefully affectionate with each other... won't be giving them my business any time soon unless there is a change cause the place does...

Was stopped at the entrance by a young drunk girl stating that we could not pass and go in unless we knew the password. After a few guesses I slipped by the annoying drunk girl, only to find out that she was also the bartender. Since I passed by without guessing the password she threatened to stab me with one of the three knives she carries in her purse and if she couldn't, she pointed out that her dad who was in the bar would. She did all this without any signs of being funny, joking, or even a smile. When we ordered our drinks they were higher priced than the exact same drinks with an ocean view at the Elbow Room around the corner. Nasty bar with even nastier attitudes, I was recently at Hunters and waited 20 plus mins for a drink, the Male bartender approached the guy sitting next to me at the bar who had already been served and the guy said “two Corona’s” I chimed in and simply asked to make it three Coronas please……..
