The atmosphere here is really nice — it’s a great-looking place and the vibe was enjoyable. Our waitress Megy was the highlight of the experience;she provided excellent service and was incredibly friendly.

However, I was disappointed with the margarita. They don’t use fresh lemon juice and instead use a pre-made mix, which really affects the flavor. When the waitress asked the bartender if she could make it with fresh lemon, she didn’t seem very pleased about it.

We had a good time checking out the new Tequila Jack’s Cantina on Fort Lauderdale Beach. Situated directly across from the beach, the view is amazing, and you can feel the ocean breeze as you sit inside or outside. This is a fun, casual spot for Mexican favorites! They have Tacos, Quesadillas, Burritos, Bowls & Nachos. My favorite was the steak quesadilla. The drinks are also good, with a nice variety of Margaritas, cocktails, Martinis, Wine, and Beer. I loved the Tequila Old Fashioned, made with one of my favorite tequilas, El Tesoro. They also have sports on which you can watch from the bar. Stopped by Tequila Jacks Cantina and had the carnitas bowl – absolutely amazing! Perfect balance of flavors with fresh ingredients and generous portions. Paired it with an ice-cold beer that was honestly the best on the beach – crisp, freezing cold, and refreshing. The atmosphere is fun and relaxed, and the staff was friendly and welcoming.
