This restaurant has always been one of my favorite places to eat, and I’ve had many great experiences here. That’s why I was especially excited to bring my younger daughter last week for a long-awaited mommy-daughter date. Unfortunately, our visit didn’t go as hoped. We waited nearly 20–30 minutes before anyone took our order, and while the server wrote everything down, it seemed like he was struggling—which affected the entire experience. Our two appetizers never arrived before the meal, and only one came after dinner. Even then, it wasn’t what we ordered, so it had to be remade and was finally brought out during dessert—after we asked three separate times. Drink refills were offered but forgotten twice, and I never received my dessert. I also had to ask twice for my daughter’s dessert, which felt like we were inconveniencing the staff rather than being served. The manager kindly offered to waive the appetizer cost due to all the issues—but that was never done either. I don’t mind paying, but please don’t offer something you’re not prepared to follow through on. To add to the frustration, it was lunchtime and the restaurant had two large tables seated, but only two servers, three or four people bussing tables, and one greeter. I’m not sure what needs to change operationally, but the lack of support clearly impacted service. I left feeling like I wasted my money that day and should have chosen a different restaurant. I also placed a to-go order for an appetizer, which came with just three small pieces of lettuce on the side—something I know is not standard. It felt rushed and careless, adding to the overall disappointment. I’m sharing this because I truly love this place and want to see it continue to thrive. I hope this feedback helps improve service consistency so that future visits reflect the quality we’ve...
Read moreI am deeply disappointed by my recent dining experience at PF Chang's in Downtown Fort Worth and feel compelled to share my thoughts. Our visit to this establishment was nothing short of a disaster, and I can confidently say it was the worst dining experience any of us have ever had.
From the moment we walked in, it was evident that something was amiss. Our order was botched right from the start, with dishes tasting as if they were hastily thrown together straight from the freezer. The excuse provided by the so-called "manager" about just finishing a rush did little to excuse the lackluster quality of the food. Basic items were missing from our order, making it clear that the kitchen was ill-prepared to handle even a moderate influx of customers.
To add insult to injury, every dish we received was subpar, with a level of sogginess that suggested a severe lack of care and attention to detail in the kitchen. Even the sake, a beverage that should be served at a refreshing temperature, was piping hot as if it had been carelessly heated in a microwave moments before being served.
This experience was truly disheartening, and I believe it reflects poorly on the standards of this particular PF Chang's location. I am eager for a District or Regional Manager to reach out to me so that I may provide detailed feedback on why this establishment is falling short of expectations. It is my hope that this feedback can lead to improvements that will prevent other patrons from enduring the same disappointing experience...
Read moreDon't go here for vegetarian food, especially for tofu. The tofu was absolutely terrible. I eat vegetarian food, and have come to expect good tofu, especially from most non American-food style restaurants. I ordered a tofu bowl. When they first brought it out, there was no tofu at all. I asked the waiter, who took it back, apologized, I waited 10 minutes, then they brought it back. I still didn't see any tofu. I was about to ask if they forgot it again, when I noticed these very tiny white cubes scattered throughout. They were smaller than croutons and there was only probably about 10 or so in the entire bowl. It was some kind of dehydrated tofu, which looked possibly breaded and air fried or baked possibly. It had the texture of a crouton, but far less taste. I've never eaten tofu with that texture before. It had almost no taste and even less substance, as it was very airy like a crouton. I exercise every day and was fully expecting some actual protein in my bowl. Most places are fairly generous with tofu, given its price in comparison to meat. Their meat bowls are packed full of meat, glazed in flavor full sauces. Their tofu on the other hand, was the worst I've ever had, and was given in EXTREMELY SMALL, I mean REALLY very SMALL amounts. Their kung pao brussels sprouts appetizer was legendarily good, so I hate to leave a bad review. HOWEVER, the service was sort of bad, we didn't see our server very often, they messed up my order, and the entree, once it was fixed, was extremely bad as I've...
