“Caveat Emptor” as they say... I’m sure Pinnacle Lodging /VisitBreck gets it right sometimes, but I would never rent from them again based on my recent experience. We booked a downtown Breckenridge condo with a “private rooftop hot tub” for 6 nights. See from the photos, the hot-tub was the selling point for the rental. It was mentioned in the title and featured as the cover photo. We arrived very excited, only to find an empty hot-tub and a laminated sign (we will get back to that...) stating that the hot tub was “Out of Service”. We called Pinnacle. They first said “check your spam folder, we should have emailed you about it.” No email in spam. No email anywhere. The laminated sign on the hot tub looked like it had been hanging up for weeks. In short: they knew it was broken, marketed it anyway, and didn’t tell us. Upon deeper dive we noticed a prior review complaining about the same unit and hot tub. This was not an anomaly for Pinnacle. We got noisy with them via phone, and got Airbnb involved. Pinnacle admittedly offered us a relatively measly credit (considering the price we were paying) OR said we could leave and get a full refund. Leave? And book a new 6-night stay during spring break season, the day-of? Cool suggestion guys, thanks. Pinnacle did manage to find time to *quickly* update the Airbnb listing and remove “hot tub” from the title, but still used a deceiving cover photo. See attached. Airbnb ended up making it right and helped us rebook a new place at the last minute, but it took nearly 36-hours of our vacation to get it sorted out. Pinnacle was mostly dismissive of our concerns and generally snarky with all communication after we flagged their fraud. I really don’t care for an apology here or an explanation from management; it was clear what they did. If you’re forced to rent from these people: call ahead to confirm the details of your listing, check your spam folder (eye-roll), and good luck.

Endless Trails Cabin in Silverthorne, CO was the perfect vacation rental. I wish I could give this house more than 5 stars. We were in heaven! We loved the unique architecture and all of the massive wood beams throughout. It was so private as it is right next to national forest, which we also loved. We spent 4 days here exploring the miles of hiking trails right behind the house and nearby. We especially loved being so close to the trails next to Copper Mountain which were so beautiful. It was very spacious with three levels and all of the windows had picturesque tree-filled views. We loved the open layout of the house. The kitchen was well equipped for preparing meals and there was also a beautiful deck with a large grill which was great. There was ample space to spread out with the lower-level bonus room and the upper level had a cute reading nook. Besides hiking we shopped in Frisco and Breckenridge which were very close. Both towns had tons of restaurants and quaint shops. We definitely hope to come back during ski season to take advantage of how convenient it is to so many great mountains.

We've experienced lovely, clean and convenient accommodations both times we've rented properties through Pinnacle. Easy access to the units and beautiful, fully-appointed homes. Our comfortable 2- bedroom condo in the Village was so convenient to everything for skiing, and the lovely 4-bedroom home overlooking town was amazing for a summer fun getaway! Everything exceeded our expectations. The homes are clean, spacious, beautifully decorated and everyone was very happy. The hot tub was hot and sparkling clean and anything we needed in the kitchen was available to us. When we realized our grill's propane tank was running on the low side, Kate took care of us immediately with a full tank promptly delivered before we even needed it. We were impressed with the friendly staff that was so responsive to this single issue. We definitely will be enjoying Pinnacle properties when we come to Breckenridge in the future.

If I could give them a ZERO I would! We had the worst experience ever renting through Pinnacle Lodging!! We rented CLOWSGILL HOLME, which is a pet friendly property. Soon after we arrived at the home, we got a text that neighbors complained our dogs were barking. REALLY?! Dogs bark! Especially if there are other dogs next door barking at them. Then we were questioned as to how many dog we had. We had our 2 dogs as we had informed them when we booked the property. We were then told that our dogs were not allowed unsupervised on the property, the person texting us (Faith) got quite nasty as we were communicating with her. On our second night at the property, my husband woke up around midnight to use the restroom, upon entering the bathroom he noticed something on the floor, he turned the light on and there was a BAT on the floor. The bat quickly scurried under the sinks. We closed the bathroom door and waited until morning to call Pinnacle. Again, Faith answered the phone and was quite dismissive of us having a BAT in the house. Animal Control came out. They were unable to find the bat in bedroom, but there appeared 2 more bats in the living room. I called to ask Pinnacle to move us to another house, again Faith was rude and told me they had no houses were available. I said this house has a rodent infestation and is unlivable. All she said was "what do you want us to do to make things better?" I finally got to a supervisor/manager after quite a few attempts. Sara, the supervisor/manager, too was quite dismissive of the situation and she too only replied "what will make this better for you?" All I could say is find us a new home. We were so appalled that they felt this was not a serious problem.....having BATS in a house. Finally Sara texted me back around noon (they do not like to talk on the phone, only text) and said that Steven, the director of sales, said that we could have a full refund if we were out of the property by 6:00, when their offices close. Luckily, I found a house on VRBO to move to that let us move in the same day. I hope that the owner of CLOWSGILL HOLME is aware that they have a BAT infestation at their house. And as a P.S. this house has no window treatments in any of the bedrooms which we thought was a...

I would strongly recommend that you stop and look at a more professional property management company. Our experience was awful! We checked in at 4:10 pm to get our keys and directions to our unit just as the directions indicated. Regrettably we were given wrong directions to a house on the opposite mountain as Breckenridge Ski Resort. We had to travel half way up the opposite mountain only to arrive at a destination that was not the one we rented. The other party had arrived just before we did, and said that there had been a mistake, and there was a Pinnacle representative that was waiting to give us the correct address and room keys. Regrettably she left us up there because she had to run an errand. Well we didn’t get to our resort until 7:30 pm. The parking was atrocious. You’ll need a skinny car to fit for sure! They said we could park in the upper parking garage, but that never happened. Also, the accommodations I booked showed 1 king bed, 2 queen rooms and a pullout bed. There was only 1 king and 1 queen bedroom which made it incredibly difficult for our family to fit. We had the younger children in sleeping bags on the floor. While we were there the fire alarm went off and stayed on for 1.5 hours after I reported it. Obnoxious! Overall I paid nearly $7K for a 5 day rental and was expecting a much better...
