"First Impressions Matter."

Came here for dinner with my wife, and let's just say that the guy at the front counter that took our order completely ruined our experience we had there today. Before I go any further, let me just say that I've been to this location a number of times in the past and was greeted with fairly decent service however, today topped the cake and was certainly one of the worst restaurant experiences I've had in quite some time. We came into the store and were deciding on what to eat. The energy and customer service that this individual was emitting was some of the worst that I've seen. He couldn't bother to look up at either of us and sarcastically said, "whenever you're ready," all while looking like he couldn't care less about his job or the customers in front of him. While we ordered, he was aggressively tapping his screen and couldn't bother to give us our cups and just pointed to them without saying a word. Now, the real kicker was seeing how he acted when his co-worker had come up to him to ask a question, in addition to taking the orders of others. I could tell just by their reactions that he could certainly care less about how he's acting and how people are viewing it. After we got out food, he proceeded to sweep up around us, and after he was finished, had slammed the broom and dustpan into its holder. Now, I've worked in the food service industry, and I get that it isn't always pleasant, but our whole interaction with him and seeing how he acted on the job certainly left a bad taste in my mouth. The food that I had once enjoyed had become bitter and tasteless. I felt as if we were a burden and unwelcome in this establishment. I am unsure if we will return to this location anytime in the near future. The food can only be so good, but if customer service falls through, it's only going to make the rest of the...

If you're on a quest for tacos that transcend the ordinary, look no further than Torchy's Taco. My recent visit left me spellbound by the sheer creativity and bold flavors showcased in their Trailer Park and Republican tacos.

First up, the Trailer Park taco delivered a knockout punch of indulgence. Picture this: crispy fried chicken nestled within a warm corn tortilla, adorned with the zing of green chiles, the freshness of pico de gallo, and the gooey goodness of cheddar jack cheese. But the real game-changer? The poblano sauce, adding a smoky depth that elevates every bite. And for those seeking an extra dose of decadence, "getting it trashy" is the way to go – swapping out lettuce for queso, ensuring each mouthful is a symphony of flavors.

Next, the Republican taco showcased a fusion of flavors that left me craving more. Imagine biting into a soft flour tortilla filled with savory jalapeño cheddar sausage, vibrant pico de gallo, and the creamy richness of cheddar jack cheese. But the star of the show? Undoubtedly, the poblano sauce, weaving its magic and tying together the elements into a harmonious ensemble of taste.

But what truly sets these tacos apart is their ability to transcend mere sustenance and become an experience unto themselves. Each bite is a journey, a symphony of flavors that dance upon the palate and leave an indelible mark on the senses.

In conclusion, if you’re in search of tacos that defy convention and redefine the very essence of flavor, look no further than Torchy’s Tacos. Prepare to have your taste buds tantalized, your senses awakened, and your love for tacos reaffirmed. Torchy’s Tacos isn’t just a restaurant – it’s a culinary journey you won’t...

The Torchys downtown is fantastic. Amazing bartenders and wonderful service. However,

I've been to the Arapahoe location 4 times. The first time it took the bartender 10 minutes to ask my drink order, then another 20 minutes to get my drink. He only had 6 customers at his bar and the restaurant was nearly empty.

The second time, I again had to wait almost 30 minutes to place a drink order at the bar, different bartender, and the kitchen got my taco order wrong.

I gave them a third and final chance and the same thing, had to wait forever for a drink (same bartender as the first visit), he was out of stock of almost everything we asked for. They had it in the back, he just didn't have his bar stocked, then he walked to the back, got one item, walked back, and repeated this 4 times till he had all the ingredients for my one drink. I had to wait another 30 minutes for my food cause the bartender "must've forgot to put it in" according to him.

My girlfriend wanted to go to this location once more since she was craving tacos and I reluctantly agreed. And once again, the kitchen lost our food ticket, making us wait 30 minutes for food, and when it came out the order was wrong.

The food itself is fantastic. And the atmosphere is casual and fun. But I will never, ever go back to this location. The location downtown is the place to go. Very personable staff and consistently...

We lived in Texas for a long time and Torchy’s is an Austin staple. Presidents stop in their way through town for a Democrat, Republican or Independent (all equally tasty depending on your mood....or political lean). However, the quality of Austin didn’t make it west. The tacos at this location are often dry and the service is not good. We frequent this location and I have to say it has become common rather than just an occasional issue. Tonight for instance, we waited 25 min in line (because they only had one of three registers open), only to find out they were out of everything I wanted to eat, and then it took another 20 min for the food to arrive at the table. Queso was cold, and the salmon “filet” on my Mr Orange would have better been described as “bait”. Like I said, we’ve had 2 or 3 experiences like this out of maybe 20, but they’ve all been in the past two weeks or so. Somethings gotta change if we’re going to come back.
