As a passionate fan of K-pop, I was excited to visit Kpop Zone, a store that promised a wide range of merchandise and memorabilia for K-pop enthusiasts. Unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory, marred by poor customer service, high prices, and a surprisingly limited selection. The first red flag was the customer service. Upon entering Kpop Zone, I was greeted with indifference. The staff seemed disinterested in assisting customers, and when approached with questions, their responses were curt and unhelpful. This lack of enthusiasm and assistance significantly dampened the shopping experience, making it feel more like a chore than an enjoyable outing. Another major issue was the pricing. Kpop merchandise is known to be somewhat pricey, but Kpop Zone takes it to another level. The items were significantly more expensive compared to other stores and online platforms. This price hike was not justified by any apparent increase in quality or exclusivity of the products. As a result, it felt like the store was capitalizing on the passion of K-pop fans without offering corresponding value. Perhaps the most disappointing aspect was the selection of merchandise. For a store named Kpop Zone, I expected a diverse range of products from various K-pop groups. Instead, the inventory was limited and heavily biased towards only a few popular groups. This lack of variety is a significant drawback for K-pop fans who often have diverse tastes and follow multiple groups. In conclusion, Kpop Zone was a letdown. The store, with its lackluster customer service, overpriced merchandise, and poor selection, fails to cater adequately to the needs and expectations of K-pop fans. It's a missed opportunity in a niche market that thrives on enthusiasm and diversity. For a more satisfying experience, K-pop enthusiasts might be better off exploring other stores or online platforms that understand and cater to the vibrant and diverse world of...
Read morethis was my first time going to a kpop store so i was excited. however, i did not feel welcomed. nobody greeted me when i walked in and i was not offered help. i have been to local stores when it was super busy and i would still be greeted as it only takes a second to do so. this creates a welcoming environment especially for new customers. i was really looking forward to making a purchase, but i did not feel comfortable being in the store any longer. i felt out of place being there which is unfortunate because the KPOP community should be a safe and inclusive community.
based on other reviews, i think the point of opening a business is to accept fault when they make a mistake and take responsibility. if a business canât take constructive criticism, then how will they continue to âgrowâ? like how old are you? it seems like any negative reviews on here are being invalidated and the store ownerâs only way to respond is to gaslit its customers and make it seem like theyâve donât nothing wrong. any interaction long or short is an interaction. i will not be coming back and i hope they can do better for new customers that come in. itâs also a âprivilegeâ to profit off of Asian culture so the least you can do is to provide good customer service to patrons who are keeping your business open.
also, invalidating other pocâs experiences is embarrassing-especially if you are also a poc. just because you had a good experience doesnât mean others do! just some common sense.
itâs unfortunate to see the owner get their negative reviews taken down to save their business. do better & grow up....
Read moresince other people are coming forward about their bad experiences with this store iâm compelled to share mine. iâve been to store multiple times and never have i been greeted by the store owner or employees, even when iâm the only one in the store. they will just stand at the register and pretend they donât see me. iâm not sure the store owner realizes this but if youâre going to open a business, you need to have good customer service. these are patrons who are giving you their hard earned money and they canât even get a hello when they come in. one of the best things about kpop is the community you build with other fans. this store does not foster that environment at all.
the owner being âknowledgableâ means nothing to meâ theyâre a kpop store, i would hope theyâre familiar with their stock. nor does it mean anything to me if they canât be friendly. it is 100% fair to make judgments based on limited interaction in the store because this is a business at the end of the day, this is the only interaction iâm going to have with the store owner. all that fluff about how much they do for the community is secondary and has nothing to do with their lack of customer service. other reviews that are trying to defend and excuse the actions of the store owner, completely dismiss the experiences of other patrons. itâs really disappointing to see other people try to invalidate the experiences of others because âthey do so much for the kpop community without having toâ. does not excuse poor customer service and racial bias.
i highly suggest checking out kpop annieâs gifts. the owners are...
