Subway — Restaurant in Hawaii

Worst experience at a Subway. Very rude employees that have no customer service training or certainly don’t use it if they have. Unfortunately I tried this location a second time after my first experience was quite similar. They refuse to honor Subway promos that have been sent to me here locally and aren’t even polite in explaining. The manager said ‘the owner doesn’t have to allow subway coupons or promos at her location and has no say in the corporate marketing’. Although it may be true that the franchise owner can opt out and elect to not honor coupons (sent to me at my home a few blocks away), I’m surprised they don’t mind losing customers over a $2 discount and can’t provide respectful or kind employees. I would advise anyone in south Maui to avoid the location at 2463...

Was not impressed with the service me and my wife got at this subway. We came in about 45 minutes to close and ordered our subs as usual. It seem like the employee didn't wanna throw out the left over meats so pretty much put 3x the meat on our subs. Then when it came to the topping he forgot to mentions that they were out of a quarter of the topping which we then felt obligated to take the subs anyway. The other thing was that he didn't seem like he took care in making our sandwiches either. Not impressed with our first experience...

Last of evening coming from Sunset up in the clouds 43 mile drive which takes a long time, but worth it. We made it back with only 25 minutes to spare and the Subway gentlemen could not have been nicer. All above scores for the chain at this store. I will come back for food that is like home in Midwest.
