I try to give this place a chance again every 6 months or so, but it’s been a let down the past couple of years. While the fruit toppings are fresh on the acai bowls, they are 90% granola, extremely overpriced, and the service is always unfriendly and comes with the expectation of an outrageous suggested gratuity. $32 for 2 acai bowls with a recommended $6 tip? Then when you eat the acai, you’re fishing through a completely full bowl of granola (and they downsized the bowl size whilst upping the price). The coffee is also very watered down and I would not recommend. If you’d like a coffee I suggest you go to Lava Java, if you’d like breakfast then the cinnamon roll place is good, and if you’d like an acai bowl, then just go to Hawaiian Moons. We had a mixed experience with our order. We tried two açaí bowls - the Pina Colada and Paniolo - and the Everything Sandwich. The highlight was definitely the fresh pineapple topping on the bowls, which added a delightful burst of flavor. However, the bowls themselves were a bit of a letdown, with a disproportionate amount of granola to açaí, and the chia flavor didn't quite hit the mark for us. As for the Everything Sandwich, it was underwhelming due to a lack of seasoning, resulting in a rather bland taste.
