We tried this Wendy's after leaving a long day at six flags. It was the closest option besides the Wendy's that's right outside of the theme park which was over an hour wait according to the traffic. The second Wendy's we came to was closed for remodel. So we ended up at this location. Only a few cars in the drive thru but we noticed they kept leaving once they got to the speaker. When it was our turn, the manager came on and said they were only accepting mobile orders. So we pulled into a parking place and began to make our order on the app. When we tried to submit it, it told us that this location was closed and that we had to try again tomorrow. So after several attempts, we pulled up to the window and asked for a manager. He came to the window and we showed him what the app was saying. He looked confused for a minute and said he wasn't sure why it was doing that then made up a couple of different stories on why is was probably doing that. After saying he hadn't seen that before, he told us a tech guy was on his way to fix that issue. Nothing he said made any since, and before we left, we noticed that others were having trouble with their apps and leaving. We also noticed that the ENTIRE crew was sitting in the lobby area having a great time, because no one could access their app and Wendy's was at the time refusing to take any other form of payment. The manager was very unprofessional. Should have got his name. After the time it took to sit and make an order for 6 people, he could have cared less about the issues we were having...
Read moreMaybe it's all Wendy's but the one in Hiram is absolutely horrible! I went up to the door at 6:40 am to get breakfast and it was locked but I could see employees hanging out in the kitchen chatting so I went to the other door where there was a a sign stating dining room closed until 8 am but drive through is open at 6:30am. No problem. Went back to my car and placed online order. Pulled up to drive through, sat there a couple minutes and no one is saying anything through the speaker, I said hello? a couple times and pulled up to window after no response. I saw an employee duck behind a wall when she saw me but another employee was by the window and couldn't get away. He was visibly irritated when he opened the window. I told him I had an online order and he told me to pull forward (I guess so I don't run up the timer or something). If you don't want to be open this early in the morning, maybe don't offer breakfast? Don't take it out on me because I wanted to eat and maybe contribute to your employment? All said, I won't be returning here again as this is the second negative experience. Wendy's, learn from Chick-fil-A about...
Read moreI had the worst experience today at Wendy’s today. After ordering sweet-and-sour sauce, I was given sweet chili sauce instead. When I went inside to exchange it, I was told the reason for the mix-up was because I didn’t “read the menu in full depth” to notice their new sauces. Even though the sauces were unopened and I had just come from the drive-through, I was told I would have to repurchase the correct ones.
The manager, who refused to give me her name and wasn’t wearing a name badge, stated that the information was on the menu board and implied the mistake was my fault. When I called back to ask for the general manager’s contact information, she was dismissive, saying they had to keep up with drive-through times and couldn’t explain why the correct sauce wasn’t available. She was extremely rude and unprofessional, even telling me I “could not comprehend” what she was saying.
I’m honestly disgusted by how poorly the situation was handled. It’s frustrating to see such a lack of respect, accountability, and...
