Changed my review from 1 star because the owner reached out to me to apologize for my negative experience. Not only did the owner apologized but refund us as well. Greatly appreciate it, we all know they didn't have to do that. The owners who take pride in their company do these things so I'll gladly change my review when they try to set things right. I can't condemn the company or a bad interaction with one of their employees especially when they reach out to apologize, so thank you for that.
Original post- I'm so angry at myself for buying my family gelato last night after the way we were treated by the server. Even though I promised my kids ice cream I should have left to get it somewhere else. This guy who served us was so disrespectful. Don't know his name but believe he was of Pacific Islander/ Asian ethnicity. My wife wanted a sample so I got samples for my 2 toddlers. And the rude guy serving felt the need to say "just so you know I can only give 2 samples per person". I guess he felt we were going to attempt to get full on samples. He said it in such a condescending way. I spent $75 there just 2 days prior. When I went to order he said the cone going to be $1 or $2 more, don't remember which one but it was a dollar amount not worth mentioning. It was the way he said it that was so disrespectful, so smug and belittling. This guy doubled down on being a jerk. Still not trying to kill my family's mood I just said I'll pay whatever the cone cost. I just wanted to order and get out of there before he forced me to snap in front of my kids. Two times I came I guess too early even though they open at 2:30. When I was there at 2:55 they asked me not to come in because they’re not ready setting up yet since they just opened (half an hour later) so I came back half an hour later at 3:30 and asked for a waffle cone and she said we don’t have any because we just opened basically nobody comes to make preparation I guess it’s done in these kind of businesses. so the ice cream is amazing the management operation and organization is really bad.
