Ordered through uber eats at 9:15am. Was expected to be delivered at 10am/1020 am at the latest. My food was showing done and the carriers kept changing. I reached out to uber eats and they were less than helpful. My food arrived at 1045 am missing the drinks I ordered. I called the uber carrier and they said call the restaurant. Too bad the number the restaurant has listed isn't a number to call and the voice-mail box associated with it was not set up. Not only did my food arrive COLD it was missing items. Review of food: trio sliders: biscuits were hard and dry. Bacon slider was good. Ham slider was ok. All the diced ham and eggs were not on the biscuits. Ended up eating with a fork and tossing the biscuits. Pulled pork slider lacked flavor. The pork wasn't seasoned well but did have a smoke taste to it.
Salmon bagel was delicious.
Biscuits and gravy boomer was good, slightly hardened and dry but the flavor was good
Kids quesadilla was good
Missing kids drink and milkshake.
Do not recommend ordering from here with uber eats. I can't tell if the food would have been better if delivered without delay or not. Also, uber eats deli ers the worst customer experience. I entered a chat at 1017am and hot no answers just apologies for delayed responses and supposedly they were having technical error. They didn't transfer me to another agent or answer any questions I asked. Just waited in the chat (ignoring my inquiries and responding 8 minutes after i asked a question with "sorry for the delay..." ) until the food was delivered abd then they ended the...
Read moreThere are a few Konos locations. This was our first time visiting the Kuhio location in Waikiki. It's just window service currently. No tables even on the outside patio space. However, we went over to the new International marketplace and sat there to eat, which is kind of fun as you can people watch, too. But, on to Konos. Their menu covers all the bases from breakfast to dinner and some treats, too. This time we went for breakfast and tried the Queens Bomber (a breakfast burrito). The not so great part first - too much potato, and the potato seemed unseasoned and just blah. I tried scraping quite a bit of out of my bomber. The chorizo was spicy and pretty good, but we were disappointed to not have the flavor of any pineapple as listed in the menu description. It turned it into a pretty standard, yet large and filling, breakfast burrito. The good part? I shared this experience with Konos, and they were quick to respond and offer to allow us to come back, and we will. The funniest part to me is that in Hawaii, they are having a problem getting pineapple! In HI? The queen's bomber, fyi, is suppose to come with pineapple salsa. We've eaten here before and their food is truly quite delicious (try the Hawaiian Bowl). Like you Konos! :) This is a fairly quick place, decent pricing and fun selection. Their shakes and combinations of flavors are a reason...
Read moreJust had to go back after the first visit (sorry no photos from that ate it too fast). The first time I had the breakfast bomber. It was to die for. They had multiple sauces to choose from and I asked for the mango one. So many to choose from. Read someone saying they had no sauce. Guess they did not see the wall of sauces lol, but I sure did not miss it. Was great on it's own, but the sauce did kick it to the next level. Not overly salted. Thank you for that.I went back day two and could not decide. I knew I just wanted pulled port and so much to choose from. The great guy at the counter told me I could actually just order by the half pound. You think if you eat a half a pound of pulled pork you will gain half a one lol? Would be totally worth it for this stuff. Who needs a veggie? I had it with a bit of rice. NOT disappointed. Had blacked bits from the end. Soooo good. Great portion sizes too. Noted there was a happy hour special. Coming back for that later. Highly recommend. Three more days left and I may just eat here every day until I go. THANK YOU KONO'S for being my vacation food pallet pleaser. Debating on getting the Kono tattoo. I understand there is a discount for that. I would so do it if I lived here. Great job, great food,...
