Tacos Laguna (Food Truck) — Restaurant in Houston

Two stars because the food was pretty good. The service, however, was horrible.

The tripa was quite good. The green sauce actually has a bit of a kick to it. The pastor was okay.

One issue with this place is how their prices aren't very clear. I came here under the impression that tacos were $1... which they were, provided they're fajita, chicken, and pastor. Tripa and others are $2. Add an extra dollar for flour tortilla. Jamaica is $4 which is quite high if you ask me. None of this information is posted anywhere.

Despite the food having the possibility of leaving a good taste in your mouth, the same can't be said about the service.

The woman taking orders seemed needlessly rude to every question asked. And yeah, I get questions are annoying, and perhaps she was getting a lot throughout the day, but it's not our fault that a lot of prices aren't posted.

Our order got messed up when we got our food, which at this point was almost expected with how unnecessarily confusing everything had to be. I was also under the impression that we got charro beans after spending a certain amount of money, but either we didn't cross that threshold (though it sure felt like we did), or they no longer do that. I guess this is why I should take reviews with a grain of salt and keep my expectations in line. You should do the same to this review if you're reading it.

The potential of this place being really good is there, but the service is what killed it for me. Hopefully if you decide to go that it'll be...

Just ordered from their truck not long ago and the lady at the front was very rude, rolled her eyes at every question like a teenage. You can't really blame us for not knowing the prices WHEN THEYRE NOT LISTED ON THE TRUCK. I had to order in Spanish, which is fine since im fluent, but im giving a heads up for anyone who only speaks English, they will not respond to you if you speak English and if they do, itll come with a whole lot of attitude. The lady didn't take the order right. I ordered 4 tacos, all corn with 2x pastor and 2xtripa. She charged me $8 and gave me an extra taco(5). The food itself was just ok but it would've been nice to know that tripa is $3 if its flour and $2 if its corn. The only tacos thats $1 is chicken, beef and pastor if theyre corn torillas. If flour, then its $2. Also I was under the impression based off other reviews that you get beans with every order of 5 tacos. Since they had charged me for 5 tacos anyway without me wanting to, I expected to at least get the beans with it but I did not. Maybe its something they don't do anymore? Either way, read the reviews, this place is apparently going down hill, and based off their customer service, I can see why.
